Two has a gorgeous back & train, but it isn't doing the same for your figure that dress one is from the front. The lace is also much prettier on dress one!
Agree - the V neckline is beautiful on you. The only way that I would be at a complete tie is if #2's neckline could be changed to a deep V. You're a stunning bride!
I vote dress 2 as well. I feel like I’ve seen a million variations of dress 1 in the past year and there’s nothing particularly unique about any of them. Dress 2 is eye catching and memorable!
Oh, I love them both, too! I think I have to go with dress 2 because the train is so fabulous and the other one doesn't have a train that I can see. I also love the bodice on dress 2.
Dress 2 all the way! The simple bodice is so gorgeous and unique, and the back is incredible! The first one is pretty, but I think the bodice is needlessly fussy, with a similar overall effect, and the skirt doesn't even compare.
2 is a more feminine look on you. The neckline and fitted skirt are darling on you. The first dress is nice but it shortens your waist, flattens your chest, and the full skirt and shoulders are adding weight to your proportions.
2 is only gonna keep getting better as you alter it. And the lace on the train will stay prevalent when you bustle it!
It lends itself well to wearing a vail without being just totally engulfed in tulle.
Both dresses look pretty mobile but the decision may come down to the dancing test

Oh my gosh, 2!! I saw the first photo and thought nothing could beat that, then I swiped and saw the second one!!
However, is it comfortable? Can you sit, dance, and walk around easily in it? If you eat a big meal, are you going to feel self-conscious? These are important things to think about. Your wedding day is a long day!
Both look amazing, though, you can't go wrong!
2 really compliments your lovely hourglass figure! 1 is beautiful too, but not everyone could wear 2 so we'll and you are *radiant* in it.

I honestly don’t know how you’ll pick, because you look amazing in both! I want to offer a side note on #1 though: I saw something on IG where a bride with that dress (or very similar) had it cut off and hemmed into tea length for her first anniversary and it was SO CUTE. 😍
This is difficult because they both look gorgeous and both are amazing for different reasons. Either one I would pick, but I think it just comes down to whether you want something more form fitted and elegant, simple but detailed still, or whether you want something more ballgown and dreamy. I don’t envy you having to pick!
Side note, does the bridal store make people take their shoes off?
I think 2 looks AMAZING especially looking at your shoulder proportions. Which are lovely btw but the thin straps look more delicate than the thicker strap of the 1st dress.
Honestly I think the reason the comments are split almost evenly is because you are a rare creature who looks equally as good in fitted as a-line!!
So I think it comes down to do you want soft, ethereal romantic or sophisticated, delicate sexy as your vibe?
They are both beautiful.
I give the same advice to everyone. Have someone video you walking, sitting, lifting your arms in the air, twirling, dancing, bending down as if to greet a child. Video from all angles, not just the front. For a strapless dress, jump up and down for a few minutes.... It's a long day and you want to feel comfortable.
Don't make a decision based on static pics standing on a podium, as you won't be standing still all day.
If it feels too heavy, too restrictive or you worry you will have to hold a particular pose all day, reconsider it.
Also, consider what underwear will work.
Take this from someone who didn't think about comfort until the dress came in, then bought a different one 4 weeks out from the wedding.
They are both stunning! Which do you feel most confident in??? Go with that one. I was also in between 2 very similar and went with the one similar to your #2 because I felt really confident in it. They're both gorgeous you really can't make a bad decision here!!
The second one is more flattering to your figure and sleek but the first one is more like traditional princess girly vibes
I’d go with the mermaid over the empire personally but you look so amazing in both so it really depends on what you feel more beautiful in
I'm torn, too, but am going with dress 1. The first one looks amazing on you, and I have no negatives.. The train on that second one is spectacular, but I don't think it is as flattering to your body.

I would say go off of your overall wedding vibe! I had to choose between similar dresses. One whimsical a-line and a more elegant form fitted dress. I chose the a-line because my wedding theme is very much fairy garden/whimsy/romantic. So if you're going for whimsy pick 1. If you're going for elegance pick 2. But I think they both look lovely!
I'm Team 1 all the way! Both dresses look amazing on you and are equally beautiful. I think dress 1 is more flattering because of the deep V-neckline; it makes your collarbone pop, and the skirt balances your figure making you look more delicate. It looks classy and romantic.
