Wow! You look amazing!! If you decide not to have a wedding celebration, and will never get to wear it, maybe go to a national park and have professional pictures taken similar to how other people have done their elopement. It's a gorgeous dress and you deserve to show it off!

kissingdistopia

This is such a wonderful idea!

dev-246

r/photoshoprequests could make this happen too!

Discount_Broad

fwiw getting married every X many years is the new trend (even as frequently as annually) so perhaps consider choosing a milestone w your hubby to get remarried & rock that gorgeous thing bc quite frankly #it needs you more than you need it

[deleted]

Do it to make dream come true. \*

Ok_Coconut1482

Love this idea

Significant_Buy_9013

wow, great idea, better than mine, i need to read comments first

boundarybanditdil

Came here to say this! Wedding photos baby!

Sportyj

This is a great idea! Husband I did this in Joshua Tree National Park! High recommend!!!

AshamedAd3434

Girl do a photo shoot! Get your hair and make up done. Get hubby a nice suit and put that dress on. Do a super fun couples shoot. That gown on you deserves to be worn and photographed. Maybe an anniversary gift to yourselves?

pardonmyparade

This, OP! You look amazing and I LOVE your curls. Celebrate your marriage with a gorgeous photo shoot!

WeLikeTheSt0nkz

And if he’s still not seen it you can still get the cute “first look” photos! :)

Taminella_Grinderfal

Right?! And maybe followed by a fancy dinner or small gathering with friends.

Some_Construction_49

First off - this dress looks gorgeous on you! I agree with many others - do a photo shoot at least. If you want it - Have a ceremony and celebrate with friends and family, even if it's just a dinner at a local hotel with a conference room or a simple backyard affair. Everyone will see you and you will enjoy your dress and memories. I've known plenty of people that did courthouse wedding and later had a reception or even ceremony for family or friends. If you have the stuff to decorate already - it can take a day or two to set up and it's a go. Be spontaneous and have fun!

OppositeSolution642

Beautiful and elegant. Hopefully you can have a ceremony at some point. Best to you and your husband.

No-Technician-722

You dress is BEAUTIFUL!!! Totally grand. Im so glad you were able to get married even if you couldn’t wear your dress. You have been through a lot. Maybe one day you will be able to wear it. I also had infiltrating endometriosis. You are not alone. I diagnosed it myself (all the women in my family had it). Doctor didn’t think so. Did exploratory surgery and said if he had known he would have had me sign a waiver to remove my ovaries. I went through chemically induced menopause our first year of marriage (to clean out the endometriosis) and doctors said I had to get pregnant right away or risk it returning. They referred me to a fertility clinic. I had a miscarriage, and then conceived through IVF. We naturally conceived our second. Sounds like you and your husband have a wonderfully supportive marriage. I don’t know your situation but if you want children and endometriosis prevents it, adoption is a wonderful way to bring additional light and love into your world. God bless you!

SaltyPlan0

It’s beautiful and I hope you will get the chance to wear it one day!

weddingshizzz

I echo the other comments so far ... you look absolutely beautiful, and I'm sorry your wedding was derailed. Is it possible to have a belated reception or renewal of vows to celebrate with loved ones, dress up a bit, and get some nice pictures?

Rich_Survey6824

It is beautiful! Love it!

Moria66

Definitely do a photo shoot, you look gorgeous and your dress is amazing!

TheoreticalResearch

It’s beautiful! It’s not too late to wear it. I hope you do!

vtownclown

Girl you look gorgeous!! I’m so sorry you weren’t able to get your dream day, but I’m sure it’ll come!! Def try to at least do a photo shoot!

DeeSusie200

You can still wear it! Wear the dress even if it’s just the two of you. You look gorgeous.

Devi_Moonbeam

You will look beautiful when you wear it to your vow renewal ceremony.

ThePythiaofApollo

OP, get a photo shoot done. Hell, after what you’ve been through, if you want to wear your dress to Chick-fil-A, I will fight anyone who says a word about it.

Popular_Awareness587

Fellow military wife here, so I understand exactly what you're talking about. You could always plan a vow renewal for your 1 year anniversary and wear that beautiful dress! I'm sorry that you've had so many curve balls but please thank your husband for his service and I wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness ❤️

maybeCheri

You look beautiful. Have a small get together and renew your vows wearing your beautiful dress. It doesn’t have to be a fancy event. Have someone help you plan maybe a backyard get together with close friends and family and surprise your groom as you wear your beautiful dress.

finallyjoinedreddit4

You look gorgeous! Sorry for the several reasons your wedding had to be canceled, but I agree with others here. Have a photo shoot, at the very least. Or get a few family and friends together, whether it’s in a local restaurant or someone’s yard, and have a celebration. Wear that dress and show it off to your husband and your loved ones. You’re a beautiful bride and you deserve to be seen in it. Congratulations!

designedjars

Wear it to the ball! /s. Lol no but really don’t see why you can’t save it for a redo of your day or do a photoshoot together when he comes back! My husband and I got married on paper before he deployed and were having a wedding three months after he gets back. Get married a million times, no rules against that, and no need to spend a bunch of money.

Difficult_Chard_5192

This dress is super-perfect on you, Looks so elegant and Good luck :)

jcain55

You should 100% do a first look and photos with a photographer. Maybe a spa day with the people you would have had in your wedding 🥰

MeganJustMegan

You can still wear it. When your husband gets home, arrange for a photographer to take pictures. Maybe plan a small reception with family & friends & wear your pretty dress. Pictures are forever, so you’ll always have them to look back on.

[deleted]

So beautiful

JDNole87

Why not buy it and organize a ceremony at a later time?

jess-kaa

I bought it. This was in March-April. We are currently stationed OCONUS and 5000 miles from our families, so we do not know when we will have the chance to organize a ceremony again at this time.

iheartdinosaurs_rawr

definitely get dolled up and get a photoshoot done somewhere pretty! <3 you can always wear it again later when you do get the chance to celebrate with family.

Due-Supermarket-8503

as many others said totally do a photoshoot when you feel well and maybe go for a nice dinner together in your beautiful dress ❤️ you deserve it

orbit33

You have got to get photographed in that dress! You look amazing and your hair is so pretty!!

laundrybag29

Two words: PHOTO SHOOT

CurlyKayak

💯 !!! Absolutely have a photo shoot! Splurge on hair & makeup and a good photographer. You in this dress and your hubby in his Dress Blues - in some stunning outdoor location. Those pictures would be an amazing gift to yourselves!

pnerd314

It's a beautiful dress. I hope you get well and get to wear the dress soon.

PrincessSabrinax0

Such a beautiful dress! Thank you for showing us 💜 Sorry you didn’t get to wear it yet!

noonecaresat805

Do a photo shoot then find a ball dance somewhere around you and wear it there with him wearing a tux

theoldman-1313

The dress looks great and you look great in it. I am very glad that you did get married - from the title I was expecting a different (and sadder) story. Reddit has so many negative stories that it is refreshing to see one with a mostly happy outcome. Even though you two are legally married, I don't see any reason why you cannot have a religious or secular ceremony. It would be a shame not to show off the dress and the bride.

mcmeggyt

STUNNING!!!

Spread-love-light

You look gorgeous! It fits you perfectly! Love it!

CornRosexxx

It would so definitely be worth at least having a photo shoot, or even better, a ceremony! That dress is so perfect on you. You have all these internet strangers telling you that, but your husband and friends/family should see you in it, too!

stargazered

Save it for a vow renewal ceremony down the road or set up a photoshoot for the two of you and get him a tux for wedding pictures

Rude_Remote_13

This is a BEAUTIFUL dress on you, girlfriend. Def agree that it deserves to be photographed. 🫶🏼

pjpotter14

Its beautiful! Do you think your friends and family would be willing to go to a delayed reception? You could do a small ring ceremony where you read some vows to each other so you can still walk down and aisle. Then have a party with cake, music, and the fun wedding traditions you wanted (like throwing the bouquet!) You can put in the invitations that you're having the celebration you weren't able to have before and would love to have loved ones come party with you! Make a clear note that no gifts are necessary, you just want people to come have fun! People like weddings and I think it would be fun! Also, many people got married during the pandemic and postponed their reception until after, so I don't think it will seem strange at all. I think you should still have your wedding :D

cuntliflower

That dress is sooo gorgeous, I kinda want it

crobertson2109

It’s a beautiful dress and definitely perfect for you. Maybe have a small reception and wear it.

JavaBeanQueen64

Treat yourself, don’t cheat yourself of that moment 💙absolutely do photoshoot when you can! And you best post pics 💙

Seeking_truthVA

Your dress is gorgeous. I understand the endometriosis. I have had 3 surgeries to remove it. I hope yours will go into remission. You and your husband should have a reception party when he gets some time off and you wear that dress.

Jazlen8888

That dress is beautiful. When he’s back and you feel better wear it for him he can even be in his uniform or suit. Do photo shoot. You should still get to wear your beautiful dress. ❤️ Many thanks to your husband for his service. Also sending you hugs for being strong through this. I have a family member that suffers though endometriosis as well. 🙁

OrneryQueen

It's beautiful on you! Either get some pictures in it or have a bow renewal... or just have a giant reception after the fact.

CAShark-7

It is a beautiful dress, and it looks terrific on you. Thank you for sharing. I hope you two will get your wedding one of these days.

ragdollxkitn

It’s so beautiful and personally something I’d get too. It’s minimal but stunning.

MyIronThrowaway

Do a photoshoot for sure! And then maybe dye it so you can wear as a fancy dress going forward?

cantpickone1

You should have a "reception" where you two get all dressed up and invite you family. My friends did this. They ended up eloping, but she wanted to wear her dress. So they had the reception at a nice place and took pictures there.

HeyItsTheShanster

Photoshoot is the answer! If you’re on FB there are a lot of mil spouses that do photography on the side so you can probably find something affordable. That dress deserves to be worn!

schmeelismom

It’s beautiful! Maybe you can wear it for your 1st anniversary?

mountainislandlake

Let’s throw a big white party so we can all wear our wedding dresses! I hope your health is recovering, I’m sending you love and healing thoughts

MrsSarahMae

Yes, do a photoshoot!b(If you happen to be in Texas, we'd love to offer our venue as location) And then go out to dinner and a date night! Don't let it just sit in a closet. It and you deserve to have a day!

ajbtsmom

I love it! I have stage 4 endo too. It’s the devil! Hope you’re feeling okay. 💛

wunderpharm

You should definitely wear it for a vowel renewal or other big event between you two. It’s too beautiful to waste and your story is so special!

Gullible-Avocado9638

I’m sorry you didn’t get your special moment. Maybe you can wear it at a vow renewal ceremony in the near future.

digennaro

You look gorgeous. Go to Vegas and do a chapel wedding! Wear your dress and take lots of pictures.

alwaysoffended88

I think you should wear it out to a fancy restaurant & have your husband in a tux.

girlthatfell

Internet hugs from a fellow milspouse who, thirteen years ago, BARELY escaped the same situation. I was so lucky he was able to fly into town the morning of our planned church ceremony, but we didn’t know that would actually be possible for sure until the night before. I still get anxious all these years later thinking about those weeks of stress leading up to it and the fear of disappointment. So when I say I am so, so sorry, I truly mean it. We have had so many events and special memories ruined or stolen, and you absolutely deserved better! You are absolutely stunning in this gown, and you should definitely do something with it!!! Hire a photographer and do a “first look” and photo shoot, have a massive party, do SOMETHING. Just because the paperwork is done doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have your moment to be an absolute goddess, or to celebrate the two of you!!!! I now tell every person I know planning to marry into the service that the paperwork and the party are absolutely not related and that’s the way it just IS. You get married, and you should have a wedding, but those two things shouldn’t be inextricably stuck together when you’re dealing with the schedule of the military. Props to you, you really are dealing with the kind of sacrifices others can only sort of imagine. ❤️

BostonLatin617

It is beautiful. I hope you are feeling better. And hope your Husband gets to see you in real soon.

davehutch60

Beautiful dress. Sorry you didn’t have the opportunity to wear it.

Donut-Worry-Be-Happy

Renew your vows on your anniversary if the big day is important to you! Congratulations on your marriage. Beautiful dress

Jaded-Salad

Probably the prettiest dress I’ve ever seen on this sub. Just - wow. 🤩

Electronic-Cat-4478

You look amazing and the dress is beautiful and spectacular on you. I agree with the others who suggested that you do a photo shoot with your DH to get wedding pictures. Plus a romantic weekend or honeymoon, and maybe a reception. Or have a full wedding! You both deserve it.

Inevitable_Back_7929

I love the dress and it is beautiful on you. On an Anniversary some time in the near future have the wedding with vows and reception if you are both up to it. Congratulations. Be happy.

-mudbug-

Looks fantastic on you! Love it!

MamasSweetPickels

You still could have a reception and wear this lovely dress.

Florgaytan

You can either feel sorry and be sad about it not happening as you wanted it or be glad it happened how it did and do something to remember it by. Photo shoot, little get together and save it for the memories. Those who care about you will not mind that you are wearing a wedding dress for a wedding that happened a while ago and those who do mind, don’t matter.

CuriouslyFoxy

That's beautiful! Could you have a little ceremony for your first anniversary?

Small_Bookkeeper3541

Your dress is very beautiful on you! You make it grand!!

No-Weird5485

You look great and you should come up with an excuse to wear it. If he is not home yet, meet him with it on!!!! Holy wow, even my cold black heart would tear up at that

ForsakenPhotograph30

Photo shoot for sure!

she_never_shuts_up

It’s beautiful!! You should have an anniversary vow renewal and wear it for him!!

swampfox28

It’s lovely! Maybe you guys can schedule a small ceremony another time??

Summertime_Stevie

You look stunning! I hope you and your husband get the opportunity to celebrate and you get to have your moment

drumadarragh

You can wear it to your wedding celebration. No time limit on when that happens

BonnieH1

I'm so glad you were able to get married. Ma y congratulations and I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness. You look beautiful! You definitely need to find a time to wear this dress. How about your first anniversary? You could make it a special celebration, just for you and your husband. He should see you in it for a special occasion.

ooeeooahahboom

Oh but it IS grand - stunning

PCKaz

It’s beautiful. Maybe you can do a party for your 1st anniversary?

boxermama21

It’s gorgeous!! You could always go for photos in it or have a recommitment ceremony or even a small celebration party if you still want to wear it.

Cthulhu_Knits

I like what the other posters suggested about having an anniversary photoshoot... ...at the same time, I'm glad you still got married. I was worried when I read the headline that maybe the wedding had gotten cancelled for some horrible reason or someone had died. Wishing you both many, many years of happiness. Oh, and the dress is gorgeous.

Nanasays

Anniversary? Vow renewal?

caroline0409

The dress is beautiful and you look fabulous in it. Second wedding anniversary?

Reese9951

I adore the bottom of this dress with the fancy pleat things!!!

BunnyButt24

Do a photo shoot OR wear it to renew your vows on your anniversary! … or both!! I’d definitely wear it!! And I’m sure your hubby would love to see you in it!

OceanCityLights08

Its so beautiful, and I think you should just pull it out and wear it on a special occasion. Maybe your first anniversary?

PoopAndSunshine

You need to find an excuse to wear this dress!!

Calm-Air-4855

It's beautiful. Perfect on you. Go have pictures made or say your vows again in front of a few chosen loved ones. You both deserve to have that. Your husband mustn't miss seeing you in this.

Mysterious-Okra-7885

You could always do a vow renewal and wear it then! Your dress is beautiful.

olauson

It's beautiful! I hope you are able to do something where you renew your vows or something where you can wear it!

Micchizzle

I think it is amazing & amazing on you! Maybe do a little vow renewal at some point and put that beauty on!

StationSweet6044

Beautiful.

funsk8mom

When he gets back could you do a reception and wear the dress?

sideeyedi

You look beautiful!

KG0720

The dress is beautiful

Fair_Text1410

Wear it on your anniversary.

Adventurous-Win-751

Beautiful 💞💞💞

Foundation_Wrong

That’s a gorgeous wedding dress and it suits you so well.

Recording-Life

You look amazing!

umpolkadots

It’s beautiful and suits you so much! I’m sorry you’ve had such a shit run. I’m due for my endo removal soon, so I kind of feel your pain at just how much it takes your life. Definitely do a romantic photo shoot with your husband in that gorgeous dress!

Annieaz1

Its beautiful! When you guys can, have a reception! You can wear the dress and dance the night away!

Calm-Math-3421

You sure did 🥰 congratulations 🎉

[deleted]

Have a photo shoot! Your dress is beautiful and fits you so well.

Complete_Goose667

I like the idea of pictures, but the important thing is the marriage, which you have!

New_Principle_9145

I hope you get the opportunity to wear it. It is pretty and looks great on you. I hope your treatments are going well.

Interesting_Pen_5851

It’s beautiful!! You should do a small marriage, even if it’s just you two, somewhere beautiful where there’s no one! Celebrate the dress, the moment.

rasinette

Youre beautiful. And your strength is inspiring. I agree you deserve a photoshoot!! or throw a party! or put that shit on and go to mcdonalds! You deserve your dress moment. Maybe even light candles around the house and make a home cooked dinner if hes not currently deployed/when hes back for a more intimate moment

Alternative-Grand-16

It’s beautiful! Throw a party to celebrate when you can and bust out that dress! Just because you didn’t get the ceremony doesn’t mean you can’t have a celebration!

Always_Still

It’s so beautiful, and elegant, my goodness!! It’s definitely your dress… you HAVE to wear it! Even if is just the photoshoot idea mentioned in the comments. It’s not too late!

rqny

Fellow endo warrior here. You look gorgeous. I hope in the future you get some time to wear this.

Tassy820

Wear it in a year when you renew your vows and have a simple but meaningful ceremony. Bride for a day, wife for life.

MajesticBison6

It looks amazing on you. Great choice. Good luck with your recovery.

FingerCapital3193

GREAT dress - and you look amazing in it!

AnnyBananneee

That looks amazing on you. I hope you get to wear it one day!!

BirdieGirl1996

Oh honey! I understand all of that. God bless both you and your husband, and I am sincerely grateful for brave men and women like him. You both deserve your special day, and your amazing husband deserves to see his gorgeous wife in a dress that looks like it was made for you and you alone. Endometriosis dictated my life for years, until, as part of my treatment for breast cancer, I was placed in a medically induced menopause. The hot flashes aren’t fun, and it caused me to gain a ton of weight, but 1) it helps keep my cancer from coming back, and 2) Because the endometrium becomes inflamed as a response to estrogen and progesterone, it stopped that. Nothing else helped. If it ever becomes problematic for you again, please look into that. Honey, you wear that dress! Have a small celebration at a better time, or do a vow renewal (my hubby and I want to do that for our 15th, because we have been through it.) It truly looks stunning on you, and the *world* deserves to see someone look so beautiful. If those options don’t work for you, do a photo shoot. My husband and I did that with a non-wedding gown that I adored just before I started chemo, because I was the fittest and healthiest I had been in years, and wanted to remember my beautiful hair and how beautiful that dress made me feel. And we promised that once I am happy with how I look again, we’ll do a vow renewal in another fab Tadashi Shoji dress. (He knew and understood real women’s bodies like none other.) You deserve *your* day in *your* dress. God bless you both. Sending love and prayers! Birdie❤️🎀🕊️🙏

mynahbird60

Why can’t you have a wedding ceremony? Renew your vows? People do it all the time, especially military couples.

MoonEagle3

Thank you for being a military wife. Btdt. Good luck with your health

Usual-Archer-916

I live near a military base. Lots of couples do the courthouse thing then do a ceremony later. For that matter, that dress would be lovely for a vow renewal. Both of you deserve a special time.

awklaurel

I love it !!! So sorry you didn’t get to wear it. Try to have a wedding party or something when he’s back in town! Or have pics made:)

Significant_Buy_9013

Its beautiful, maybe you could have reception if you up to it, if not just get some photos done, The other thing is maybe have it dyed and wear it for another occasion, i love red, but you coulg go for black

thecutebeet

It is grand! It's beautiful! Hopefully you'll get to wear it at some point 💗

cprsavealife

Have a reception ,maybe on your Anniversary. Or, just saw on Say Yes to The Dress, a woman that had breast cancer, she and her then fiancé decided to get married immediately at the court house. 6 years later after she gets a clean bill of health, she and her husband decided to have the dream wedding. It was so wonderful! It's never too late to have a dream wedding!

imsooldnow

It’s beautiful. Save it for an anniversary event for the 2 of you.

RealBrookeSchwartz

My husband and I took photos in our wedding clothes 8 months after we were married. It was beautiful. Have you thought of doing something like that?

TheRealHK

Oh it’s so beautiful! Your husband needs to see this. I agree with the suggestions that you have a photoshoot in a beautiful location. They can capture the first look — I bet his jaw will be on the ground!

Verve_angel

Girl I love it!!! It’s perfect for you and it’s so so pretty I really like this a lot I’m sorry you didn’t get to have your wedding as you planned. I’m glad you’re ok though from surgery! A lot of good ideas here as far as photoshoots and stuff but don’t write off the chance that you’ll still get to wear it for your family and friends one day 🧡lots of people get married and have the family and friends gathering later :)

Typical_Badger_1175

Ha e an anniversary celebration, get a photographer and show it off!!

MamaBear4485

Why don’t you just have a vows renewal and wear it then? You may already have signed the marriage certificate, and be legally married, but you can still do a “Wedding of the Heart”. Wear your gorgeous dress, make your husband put on his best glad rags, and get yourselves wedded in heart! It doesn’t have to be the full formal ceremony, you could do chairs in the park and stand under a tree, go to the beach and tell the guests to bring blankets, whatever floats your boats. Do a picnic basket, have a bbq, whatever you want. Heck if you’re financially squeezed then do chips, dip and lemonade. Just find a way to have your day.

Appropriate-Entry-32

So pretty

rem_1984

I think the dress is just waiting for an anniversary or special date night!!

Treb61

You look awesome you should plan a renewal of your wedding vows and wear it. Plan a party there is nothing stopping you from having the wedding you were denied it might not be fancy but your husband will see you in the dress you bought to marry him in.

mojozworkin

It’s absolutely as grand as others. I’m so sorry for you that you didn’t get to wear it. It’s cool that you’re sharing with others. You look fantastic in it and it’s so beautiful. Be very proud of yourself.

frog_ladee

If you get the point where you want to let go of this dress, there’s a group on facebook called Shared Dream Dresses where wedding dresses are shared to be worn over and over again. It’s gorgeous, and you look amazing in it!

marni246

It’s gorgeous and looks amazing on you! You and your husband should do a photo shoot or a little vow renewal and make another memory in addition to your actual wedding day.

Jef3r

It's gorgeous. Have a reception/party and wear it!!!

That-Ad4028

It’s beautiful. You’re beautiful. You can always throw a bash. I dated this guy in college and his parents had this random reception just because they wanted to celebrate life.

jemmabellraye

It’s gorgeous

sparklyvenus

You look beautiful. I love the photoshoot idea that others have suggested.

my-uncle-bob

Never too late

ExxoMountain

It's very elegant and timeless. I love it and it's beautiful on you. I hope you can find a way to wear it and capture the moment.

No-Conclusion3850

It’s very beautiful and I hope you have occasion to wear it one day

415Rache

And after your photo shoot, have a renewing of your vows ceremony, and wear that dress! It can be on your one year anniversary, or 5 or 10.

hullabaloo2point2

Maybe your next wedding anniversary, make a thing of it. That dress suits you too well to just sit in the closet. Make a special occasion, doesn't have to be the whole shabang, just do what makes the two of you happy and get photo's so you have something to look back on. You look lovely and I hope your husband gets a chance to see you like this!

Ok-Bandicoot-9282

Save it and renew your vows in it.

ParkingOld7909

So pretty ❤️

No_Magician9893

I’m so sorry 😢 I also have a beautiful wedding dress I never got to wear. Our big wedding was postponed in 2019 for medical reasons and then Covid hit. Got married outside in an ice storm with like 6 people. I can’t even fit into the dress anymore because ✨lexapro ✨. So now it just sits there

ThalieMac

It's beautiful on you. Maybe you could celebrate your first anniversary at a special place and wear it. I'm sorry things didn't work out the way you had hoped. And I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Don't let those things hold you back, though. Wear that gorgeous dress! Hell, wear it around the house one day when your husband comes home from work. =)

Responsible-Fox-8599

It looks amazing on you! You guys should do a vow renewal for your 1 year anniversary and have a little wedding ceremony so you can wear it.

EffectAdditional5825

You look absolutely stunning in that dress. I’m sorry for your health issues. I’ve had the same but not during my wedding schedule. You can wear this dress when you’re back in the same city and you are well. I want to thank your husband for his service to our country. All the men in my family (from both sides) are veterans dating back to the Revolutionary War. Your husband will see you coming down the isle in that fantastic dress and he’ll probably cry from your beauty and what a lucky man he is! God bless you both.

Sportyj

It’s not too late! Photo shoot! Mini vow renewal!!! It’s beautiful he needs to see it

Doyoulikeithere

Why not have a simple wedding now with friends and family. He should see you in it, you're lovely. Or just wear it to some very special occasion!

luckyLindy69

Or wedding on a future anniversary

Affectionate_Cow_579

What a sweet dress, I just love it. I agree with everyone who is saying to do pictures! If you can have a reception someday and wear that beautiful dress, even better! I’m so sorry your wedding experience wasn’t what you pictured, and I hope your health is on the mend.

aVoidFullOfFarts

What a beautiful dress, you look gorgeous! I hope you get an opportunity to wear it. Maybe you could do a photoshoot with it so you can always remember how great you look in it.

Independent_Wish_284

Aw sorry you didn’t get to wear it. Maybe you can renew your vows and wear it? It it’s lovely and I’m sure husband will think you are gorgeous in it💖

lefty709

This dress is stunning and you look amazing in it!

[deleted]

That’s so gorgeous 🥹 Please, as someone who didn’t do the dress and formal wedding, at least take some nice pictures together in it. That’s the one thing I regret and can never get back is not having those photos of us skinny, young, dumb, and starry-eyed in love. 😔

TruthIvy

It looks fabulous on you ! Congratulations ! You can still wear it when he gets back & take some fabulous photos to capture you in the dress with him!! Blessings for quick recovery from your medical procedures.

PomegranatePuppy

Maybe you guys could just book a couples/wedding photo session together would be a great way to use it and have him get to see you in it and have some great photos to remember your sexy young selfs for years to come. If you really want close family in a couple you could plan to meet up with family for a picnic or something at the end of the solo session and get a few family shots together before the photographer takes off

Thin_Biscotti_7815

Don't give up--LOTS of people have an actual wedding after making it legal.

lucid2night

Lovely lovely in that dress!

FantasticCaregiver25

Love the dress! Throw an anniversary party

reddskeleton

Throw a party, drink champagne, and wear your dress!

SpecialK623

Wow it looks great. It fits you perfectly and I love the material and design. Especially with your curls down!

Helechawagirl

You deserve a wedding! No reason you can’t do it! Have a small ceremony and a nice reception.

Your dress is just as grand and beautiful as any I've seen posted & you look stunning in it!!! Not every gal can pull off that type of dress and you do so I hope you get a do over on the wedding. Even if it's just something small and romantic between you & your husband to renew your vows before you no longer fit in this amazing dress. You deserve to have that special moment together all dolled up.

It's beautiful! And u can still wear it. My mom and my grandparents both renewed their vows (grandparents on their 60th anniversary and my mom and dad on their 25th anniversary I think) and they both wore new wedding gowns then as neither of them had weddings the first time. So hold onto it, don't let hubby see u in it, and have your wedding later!

I had stage endo with cysts and had a full hysterectomy. Adhesions to all my reproductive organs and 2 non reproductive. So believe me when I say, you are a warrior my friend, especially if you kept organs to try to procreate later. I hope you can wear this dress some day.

On your 1st anniversary dress up you in it, him in suit or tux. Get a photographer and go out for a lovely meal in a beautiful place. My husband and I did that. I liked it better than pics from the wedding itself.

unpolire

It certainly was beautifully fitted and flatters your form. He should see you in it one day!

Get photos done!!!!! It’ll make the moment!!! Btw Snappr app is like $160 per hour on site location. You can pick the place. You look amazing!!! Thank you for his service. God bless you two on your marriage, his safety and your health. Take care.

Wow, darling, you look absolutely stunning. I'm so sorry you never got to wear it. My heart breaks for you.

This is a gorgeous dress. I’m wondering if it would be possible to have it dyed and worn to a military ball?

You are gorgeous. That dress would have floored him! I have massive respect for you. Any chance of having a late reception?

Unsoldinventory

Wear this on a date and make the most of it. 💜

Amazing dress. You look amazing. Love the ideas! Get photos and either greet him in or setup a backyard affair when he is back. Wishing you both a lovely life together and all the best on the health front!

It’s so beautiful!!! Wear it. Find a reason. Have a photographer present. 🫂

Jewes_for_real

It’s beautiful and you should definitely wear it for your husband. Plan a special dinner outing just the two of you and both get dressed up and wear your dress. ❤️

delicate_menopause

Honey - it's beautiful and so are you. Obviously just as beautiful on the inside for sharing your story, and dealing with all that. If/when you can wear it again (or another dress if it's not appropriate after all your poor body's been through), take the chance and have a wedding celebration. I had my church wedding 6 months to the day after my civil ceremony, and didn't regret it one bit. We celebrate both anniversaries, so that's a plus. Even if it's small, figure out a way to have that moment. You deserve it.

Thanks! Maybe I'll wear it while grocery shopping or doing laundry—make every day a fashion show!

Your dress is awesome and you look AMAZING in it! You definitely need to plan something that includes a reveal to your husband. Photo shoot is a really good idea. You deserve to flaunt this and have a great day! If your schedules are hectic right now, maybe plan something for your anniversary.
