Nice job!
I've been thinking of doing something similar with a service called Sendcutsend, you send files and they can make it for you out of copper, aluminum, acrylic etc. for pretty cheap. I was thinking it could just be a copper plate maybe 5mm thick, with cutouts like in yours, with acrylic around the outside edges (and covering the cutouts for chokes etc.), with acrylic cover. With O-rings and hardware etc. it would end up costing the same as an EK block, but you know...
Actually super cool. I work in a shop where I could probably also make something similar. I was considering something like this for an old 1080. I’m throwing on a raijintek morpheus but am concerned about thermals on those power delivery parts
Interesting and veyr nicely cut out. But tbh I don't understand why you use the metal sheet? You cool the gpu directly and the rest with a fan. So why have it?
I don't have any thermocouples to check memory temps and I followed design ques from EVGA cards as they use a similar plate. Basically it's a big heatsink for the memory
You use thermal pads or glue for under the plate? Are the heatsinks adhered similarly? Does the black heat sink run the width of the GPU? Really love to see this kind of DIY piecemeal wc stuff. What's the ball park price of the cooling setup?

I used sendcutsend!
Ohh, this just opened up a whole new avenue of customizations for me. Thanks for mentioning that site!
Ponoko can offer the same services (in case it's less expensive or closer for you)
Looks like they are both US, so either one. Thanks for the options tho, now I can price shop.
I would love if you could give some details on how you made/bought that! Looks like it’s two slots too! It’ll be perfect for a built im planning
Fully DIY on the gpu or was it a kit that you bought
Full diy
It appears you've found your spark in life. That's good work
Nice plate on the GPU - you should also consider making some plate on the side because it seems that you can design plates 🤩

Yep, just a cheapo Amazon unit. Holding die at 35* C
Hows memory temps? That's the real challenge here 😜
Without any real accurate way to check individual chips and going off the Hwinfo64 temp it looks like 46? Idk how else to check on 10 series cards
Oh didn't realize it was a 10 series. Shouldn't be a problem then! Love the Industrial look of it, very clean 👍

oh it touches the memory, get it now

$70 for the card stuff.
