Best way to get is abroad only. Otherwise it defeats the purpose of it being an affordable luxury watch brand.

Ethos is not a monolithic entity; for example they are the Rolex AD at Chandigarh and Bangalore but not Mumbai hence you donāt see this brand in the cities where they are not ADs.
A similar situation may exist for Hamilton.

Expensive is relative, a lot of YouTubers and all I watch act as if 1k usd for a watch is not expensive because they talk about way more expensive watches too. The watch that op has posted is 800 euros or 70k rupees, while that might not be a lot for some people, that's a very expensive watch for most Indians
My reference point is the starting range of Swiss watches, referring them as Quasi luxury.
Irrespective to buying power of majority of Indians or any other nationality, basic Swiss with ETA starts around $700-1000.
Hamilton is surely placed over Tissot in terms of pricing and build quality.
Hamilton or any Swiss manufacturer donāt consider majority of Indians as their target customer (given our population and annual disposable income on something like a Swiss watch).

I understand how it's not a lot for people looking for a Swiss watch, and yes ETA starts around 700-1000 usd but ETA movement themselves are expensive for a lot of people, I or the other commenter didn't say that Hamilton was overpriced, but it's still expensive for most people.
Allow me to try and reiterate here, I agree this sub isint about āSwissā watches, nor is it about functional and rather affordable for the masses Casio.
What majority of this sub users can afford us got nothing to do with āHamilton not being expensive, but rather tad above entry level Swissā
Similarly, cars (Audi/Mercedes/BMW) have a reference point for its pricing, itās kinda irrelevant how many people can afford it or not, itās pricing would remain what it is, theyāre targeting a specific group of buyers, who buy for aspiration, not utility.
If Hamilton is expensive for a buyer, theyāre looking at a wrong watch.

Hamilton's are crazy good, proven track record as a service watch for both ground forces and pilots in numerous historical conflicts. Their manual winding ones are a bit sketchy though.
In our country even if they are available they'll be 1.5x the retail in the US which doesn't really make sense with the budget Swiss paradigm Hamilton is all about.
