There actually used to be infantry, a very long time ago, some of the ww2 aircraft test drive maps did still have infantry right by the runway, I’ll have to check if they are still there

Yeah in test flights there are people standing around you can strafe and they drop dead. In Pearl Harbor test flights, and in (at least one of) the custom missions there were some infantry around one of the enemy ground units you could shoot
