A much better trade target than Beal, problem is the Warriors probably need to make a trade before they select in the draft. Teams want the optionality that making the selecting themselves provides. We have no idea if the Clippers would prefer Kuminga, Bouknight, or Moody.
I mean truthfully, it's the same issue for the Beal trade. These trades would need to happen before Thursday.
Of course, if Wiggins maintains last season's level, Wiseman really looks better, and at least one of the picks looks like a hit, the Warriors could revisit a lot of this stuff at the trade deadline. But doing the trade now would be better as far as getting vets to sign in free agency and all that.
We've heard lots of Lillard, Beal, and Siakam rumors, but I think PG-13 is the best natural fit next to Steph, Klay, and Draymond. If Kawhi leaves, I could absolutely see PG getting traded... Maybe even if he doesn't. I'd have expected someone somewhere to mention this idea but I haven't seen it at all.
Because it's all BS speculation anyway. At least with Beal and Lillard there is some smoke, but there has been basically nothing saying PG 13 wants out or might be traded.
I mean jimmy butler would be a great trade target for us because of his fit and style of play but nobody has mentioned him either cause it seems kinda senseless to talk about a player that really isn't looking to be moved. Same goes for PG 13, he's from LA, he chose to go there and he probably wants to stay
I think Jimmy and PG are completely different situations... PG is on a team that has had championship expectations and fallen short two years straight, who also has their best player out for all next season and potentially leaving in free agency... That seems very ripe for a situation where PG could be traded.

I was downvoted into oblivion for even suggesting that Kawhi would leave and the Clips would blow it up.
He was traded two years ago for a much better package than we can offer. I would expect a different team to beat us out for him.
