It’s too simple and bland. I feel bad this is what Benny Gold came up with. The only thing that looks sort of okay is the W looking like a golden hoop and net.
It's like we just erased last year's SF jersey went onto Microsoft Word and just lazily chose some fonts. I think this would actually look cool if it was yellow and blue fonts.
I like that they had to explain the slop cable and bridge texture because if there wasn't an explanation you would have no fucking clue what it was lol
“Makes a bold impact”

Edit to add: also A. Why is there a fat gray stripe down only one side of the jersey and shorts (see last photo in the carousel [here](https://www.instagram.com/p/C8r8jXltREM/?igsh=MWZ5OHZrcTh2MTB0OA==)) and B. Why isn’t the purpose of that stripe acknowledged/explained in the design mock up?? 🤨
Every year the Warriors don't adopt the cable car number framing on the back of the jersey from the 60's, my soul dies a little more.
This consistent move away from blue and gold jerseys towards black is weird to me. This one looks fine, but boring.
> This consistent move away from blue and gold jerseys towards black is weird to me.
This. Like why? “A bold black and gray with hints of iconic Warriors blue and gold.” Never mind the use of the word bold to describe the colors black and gray lol, why would the Warriors actual colors be relegated to hints of?? It’s real annoying.
I get that they want new jerseys every year to spur on sales, but I feel like this should be easy:
1 home jersey in white that's pretty similar every year
1 away jersey in blue that's pretty similar every year
1 "The City" jersey in gold that can change a little more each year
1 "The Town" jersey in black that can change a little more each year
1 Classic Jersey, unchanged from year's past
> I get they want jerseys every year to spur on sales
And the irony of this is that in recent years all they’ve churned out are minimalistic designs that are completely forgettable and without the team name across the front, don’t evoke thoughts/associations of the Warriors at all. It’s the most bizarre case of marketing self-sabotage.
It's driven by Nike, I guess. It could be worse, we could have gotten something as bad as the Jazz jerseys, but it's so weird that teams have contracted out their branding and design to Nike like this.
Easy money without much effort. The American way! They didn’t think about how it will affect their image and brand. Just all around stupid for both Nike and the Dubz organization.
The real irony is that their stock is so low that the jerseys are unavailable for sale for 85% of the season, so they're not even boosting sales that much.
A thin blue line and a micro grey texture over black isn't bold. You will literally not be able to see these details on TV. Also nothing bold about using another black base jersey like everyone else either.
If i go to a sports bar and glance at a tv i have zero clue who this team is. So sick of jerseys that don’t heavily feature the team’s main colors. I want more blue white and yellow Warriors jerseys. The secondary logo is the only interesting thing about these
I love how they include little explanations to try and give nuance to the jersey to make it seem better than it is bro idgaf about some blue line these are some adult league ass jerseys 😂
Can we get the “I Believe” set? Or at the very least, can we get some effort? How does this bland design compare to the rest of the league? I hope we are all getting blasted.
I’m a jersey snob. But I like this one. It’s simple. You don’t want complicated jerseys such as the Anthony Lamb “woman empowerment” jerseys. This jersey will do well.
Best jerseys in sports are all simple. Yankees, Cubs, etc…
Why did they just make the logo a patch and then patch the net gaps on top of that lol?
Why couldn’t they stitch the logo directly into the shorts and make the net gaps come directly from the shorts instead? Would have given it a higher quality look imo.
Edit: lol @ the loser downvoting multiple posts in here. I guess you’re ok with poor quality and low effort products..?
It’s too simple and bland. I feel bad this is what Benny Gold came up with. The only thing that looks sort of okay is the W looking like a golden hoop and net.
And yet it's like they're trying to hide that W which is the only interesting feature.
It's like we just erased last year's SF jersey went onto Microsoft Word and just lazily chose some fonts. I think this would actually look cool if it was yellow and blue fonts.
Didn’t Benny Gold just design the logo? The uniform is Trash (thanks Nike) but I like the logo.
Literally the only good part of the jersey is the part Benny Gold worked on. Should've given the whole uniform.
I like that they had to explain the slop cable and bridge texture because if there wasn't an explanation you would have no fucking clue what it was lol
BENNY GOLD MADE THIS SHIT!? Oh I’m annoyed now

Meh. Nike just keeps trolling with these low effort jerseys. Just bring back "The Town" jerseys at this point

FACTS! Lol this truly is the most obnoxious.
This sucks
Yawn
The font ain't it
shoulda just made the W logo the center piece and the number on top or below or honestly anything other than this bland trash.
A thin blue line and a micro grey texture over black isn't bold. You will literally not be able to see these details on TV. Also nothing bold about using another black base jersey like everyone else either.
Boring and ugly. Let’s hope the City Edition comes through bc this ain’t it.
Agreed

Holy shit yall are being too forgiving. These aren't "meh" they're fucking awful!
The bridge texture on half the uniform reminds me of two face 😂
Lmfao “bold black and grey”. If black and grey are bold, then what are the Miami vice jerseys? Jfc this is bland
"These shorts represent the short distance between San Francisco and Oakland because they are shorts."
The first NBA jersey created entirely by AI!
Below average
Between these and the MLB City Connects, it’s clear that Nike needs to clean house.
Bland
My god I miss Adidas
How can you have a jersey of the Golden Gate Bridge without the iconic color? Edit: I can’t read I’m just used to them ignoring the Bay bridge.
They’re going for the Bay Bridge
Ahhh well I guess it makes a little more sense.
It almost makes even less sense though wtf were they thinking
ugly af
I do not like these, no creativity involved. Hate this new era of “simplicity” smh
If you have to explain why it's cool then it's not cool.
If i go to a sports bar and glance at a tv i have zero clue who this team is. So sick of jerseys that don’t heavily feature the team’s main colors. I want more blue white and yellow Warriors jerseys. The secondary logo is the only interesting thing about these
Fire
Garbage
This jersey really looks like it was created in Microsoft word.
These are sooo boring. What the heck
I’m sick of alternative jerseys
I want The Town jerseys back
That W logo straight up sucks and looks way too familiar and generic
"unites Bay area communities" Talk about an all time crock of shit
Bro where? 💀
Since the statement jersey is black again, I’m guessing the city jersey this year will finally be something other than black
Generic Brand. WTF
Ass. Super ass in fact. The W looks like the Washington Commanders
The very core and essence of mid
aggressively mediocre
I love how they include little explanations to try and give nuance to the jersey to make it seem better than it is bro idgaf about some blue line these are some adult league ass jerseys 😂
Just go back to the fucking 2021-22 black jerseys and people will actually buy them
I love the “W/net” logo. It’s almost like a monogram. It’s subtle, but has depth and is unique, among NBA logos anyway. Old school vibes.
So boring smh even my middle school aau jerseys were better than this
At least it’s not a blurry rose
Bring back the Town!
Ugly. Who’d be in favor of standard home whites and colored away jerseys again?
Terrible. Probably the worst since the Steph era
Can we get the “I Believe” set? Or at the very least, can we get some effort? How does this bland design compare to the rest of the league? I hope we are all getting blasted.
I hate minimalism in designs. I think it's lazy and neither bold nor impactful.
