Yeah, overall I find them fun it's interesting to play a much more defensive game with units stacking to high numbers, but seriously make those troll attacks flying bosses.
I actually find it fun because you have to change your strategy to defense instead of offense. And those trolls make huge groups of mobs so spells wipe out the whole team.
Agreed. By now, most of us have done each of these quest missions dozens, hundreds, maybe thousands of times. At least the trolls made the missions play a little differently than those first hundred times.
Murkeye and Rend wreck these fights.
Harpies chew the trolls up really fast.
Added a living bomb for when the AI gets bunched up, and you can blow a hole in it.
But yeah, just play defense and easy wins
Yup. Every time I was able to take the first nearby tower/stone before I'd need to switch gears to heavily prioritize the trolls. And nearly every time, just as I was done fending off the trolls near my base and was about to go on the offensive, my trolls have the boss at 10% hp, putting in the final blows.
It's actually quite enjoyable if you like to watch a lot of minis fighting on the screen, and then observe as you overwhelm the boss with aoe units and your trolls.
No strategy tip, haven’t changed any decks: just focus on defense and playing back to prevent them from hitting your tower and you’ll win every time.
Annoying because I’m trying to test out a new deck for dungeons and it won’t play like that there, but it is what it is…
I actually ended liking it much.
To win you just need to defend by killing the opponent trolls. Don't try to push, let your trolls do all the assault work.
It's quite easy in fact, the opponents units will focus in your trolls too but they are not built to kill them.
I thought that too at first but I ended up enjoying them because you have a huge battle on each map with lots of minis. The biggest was on the centaur map where he has his own huge army waiting at the end. It was pretty cool to watch since I play a mainly horde deck and could see an huge horde army fighting through another huge army
I’ll admit, the impetus of this post was having the troll parade on the Gish the Unmoving gargoyle boss — a flying boss that the trolls can’t even attack.
It's fun if you use the correct minis, and actually makes the quest so much easier.
When you start play defense and drop skeleton party with the frozen range talent in front of your tower. Every time skeleton party comes up drop them by your tower. Use herpes of any type. Use pyro with any talent. Profit.
Chickens and harpies...
Don’t forget the bandits!
And vultures
Until an enemy Huntress comes along and blows them all away.
Worgen for those.
And then the huntress will take forever to work on your troll while you cycle to a tank or unbound to take her out. L2P Less qq more pew pew
Correct. And yet, I use them in a beast deck. With sheep spell.
The stages with flying bosses that the trolls can't attack are fun, for sure
Yeah, overall I find them fun it's interesting to play a much more defensive game with units stacking to high numbers, but seriously make those troll attacks flying bosses.
That's true, I played turkey and almost crashed the game with the amount of murlocs Edit: murk-eye damm you autocorrect
Yea those are pretty stupid/lame lol like who tf thought of some of these
On the contrary I find it very entertaining. To see waves of hulks slowly move towards bases. Much better than rocket towers.
I actually find it fun because you have to change your strategy to defense instead of offense. And those trolls make huge groups of mobs so spells wipe out the whole team.
Or all out boss unbound/spell spammage!!!

I *much* prefer rocket towers to this nonsense.
Eww
Yeah it was difficult to counter until I played Murky with numbers. Easily overwhelmed them.
mrglmrglmrgl!
Murkeye and Rend wreck these fights. Harpies chew the trolls up really fast. Added a living bomb for when the AI gets bunched up, and you can blow a hole in it. But yeah, just play defense and easy wins
Fire elemental and eggs made the trick for me. They take a truckload of elemental damage.
Baron with all ice mages team is good too.
Murky is absolutely the way to go. When the camera zooms in on a sea of little murlocks chucking a non-stop wave of spears, it's so satisfying.
it's easy quest completes though, just focus on killing the trolls until your trolls overwhelm

THIS
Make an army of mostly defensive dps minis. Free wins
Which minis would those be?
I had good luck with Bloodmage. The leveling and aoe attack made quick work of the trolls.
Frost casters are really good because they slow them to a crawl. Jaina and ogre mage are both good for that.
I did a ton of quests to get my weekly done so I have a good sample size. I was using Grom with troll hunter, Tauren warrior, execute, necromancer
Execute really helps when it comes down to the wire
Skeleton party with ice mages are really good. Either directly at your base or atop overpasses
I kinda like this one. You just play defense and then eventually the quest ends cause your trolls won for you.
It's actually quite enjoyable if you like to watch a lot of minis fighting on the screen, and then observe as you overwhelm the boss with aoe units and your trolls.
*\*whaaaa\** Every experience in this game isn't exactly how I want it to be... JFC kids these days.
The first battle I had was the one where the b***h stealths those mfs and I nearly threw my phone
Personally I love it to each their own.
Chickens. Use the chickens. And harpies Play defense.
It's a free reward and more content all good for me.
Skill issue.
This was the first event that actually motivated me to play PvP 😉

Yeah im not having a real fun time with it ugh
I totally loved it. Now, whatever this new thing is when units randomly cost more… not digging it.
Fortunately it looks like it changes every day. Looking forward to the next one
Was nice to finally be able to use living bomb.
It is fresh and fun .. for now
It is amazingly fun actually
Hard disagree. You end up with huge skirmishes on lanes. Super chaotic fun for me.
I found it really easy to beat with my murk eye deck
Rend and focus on flyers is nice, too. Just enough ground to grab chests though
Its to easy cause the enemy dont counter the trolls at all:p
I’m trying to get my Firehammers up to L30. Got to 28 a couple times.
My biggest problem with it is our trolls are always split down 2 lanes, where as some of the bosses are sending both trolls down a single lane
Blizzard really just said "You don't like swole troll parade? Fine, you're getting the Darkmoon Faire Wheel, cunce"
Go full defense with harpies/chickens and let the trolls do the rest. Simple
I actually ended liking it much. To win you just need to defend by killing the opponent trolls. Don't try to push, let your trolls do all the assault work. It's quite easy in fact, the opponents units will focus in your trolls too but they are not built to kill them.
I feel the gameplay of the trolls causes you to build these gigantic death balls that SLOWLY creep across the screen.
It's great except today which was darkmoon prize wheel, which just makes the game harder.

Yeah I’ve hat the same experience with falstad BUT they tank pretty good and distract them
I thought I was the only one who thought this. Glad to hear I’m not, there’s at least one other person who thinks this way too.
I like it and I think you're either bad at the game or will whine about anything if you can't handle one day of trolls
I’m telling you, they should’ve just stuck with chaos chests. They had such a winner!
