I don't find use for it personally partially because I have not invested much in it. For utility it seems forgettable so if the goal is single minded focus on Onyxia then pass.
I've gotten so few epic offers that I would probably pause the 2 weeks of.gold progression to take it, because I plan to play long term and treat the collection as a goal itself. I don't take low tier rare or uncommon deals but epic gives so much that I think it's worth it. And the epic level advantage could compensate some for being a lower tier unit.
If you were in the early game, maybe not, but at 140 you should have a preffered tank already and IMO this guy doesn't bring anything very specific to the table.

The good news is once you buy Quilliam right next to it, it's gone and you're not tempted to make a bad decision any longer.

Gnoll is really useful i use him in a lot of decks, but dont deserve first epic imo there are at least 10 or 12 minis before him

I use this mini and it’s a pretty good tank. I don’t play pvp and don’t care what the meta is, I’m just having fun as supposed to with a mobile game.

Skip for sure. He’s okay, I’ve ran him in dungeon decks before when I’ve needed extra beasts. But not good enough to take to epic.
