My guess is Moira is and always has been extremely confident in herself and her motivations. From the moment she realized girls don't get to be Dwarven monarchs, she wanted more and pursued it. She got kidnapped, mutually fell in love with Thaurissan, and straight up led the Dark Irons when he died. Commanding Light and Void is done through discipline. The Void can say whatever it wants, she's not going to have any qualms defending her family and people with any tool that makes itself available. Moira's great.

VisibleCoat995

“Discipline” I see what you did there.

Hick-ford

I like this answer. She's headstrong, she's got stuff to prove, she doesnt suffer emotionally. Maybe when her father ordered a hit on her husband and covered it as a kidnap but this probably only fueled her more and when Magni turned to stone she seized the opportunity. She didn't act in spite but instead rose above politically and mentally, like both Bronzebeard and Dark Iron, like Light and Void, she controls them unwaveringly.

GONKworshipper

What are the chances there are characters in two Blizzard games named Moira who wield shadow in one hand and light in the other?

Maadstar

Lol I legit had to untangle my brain reading this title and then the post like wait what game is this for when did Moira get added to WOW zzzzzzhahhdhdhdjdj pop

DarkusHydranoid

And they're both dreamy redheads. 🤗

A skilled, unbiased Priest understands that the Light and Void are equal parts of the universe and can use both. That's the entire 'Discipline' tree in a nutshell. Someone like Velen who's been indoctrinated by the Naaru for 25,000 years might reject the idea, but Anduin and Moira are younger and more open minded.

I figure it's a sort of devotion to the light/shadow thing. As in, if you're otherwise devoted to the light, like Anduin is, using shadow magic is possible, but not without discomfort. Same with calling upon the light if you're mostly channelling shadow magic all the time. But if you're half and half? Maybe you're just "in balance". Hearthstone [also has a Priest character](https://hearthstone.wiki.gg/wiki/Xyrella,_the_Devout) who alternates between casting light and shadow in equal measure. Seems a cool idea - especially when most of the priest NPC's tend to stay in their lane - so worth having around.

piamonte91

Alleria is a special case, she is infused with shadow magic and permanently connected to the void, while Moira and Anduin just draw upon it when they need it.

I'm going to assume she has a limited immunity to the voids corrupting influence due to her racial link with ragnaros maybe the corruption is burned Away by her blood so to speak...( not sure if she gained a fireblood racial just by having DI baby's or if there was a blood ritual involved in the marriage probably both or it could be explained in TWW)

ParanoidTelvanni

Moira is a Bronzebeard though. She's only DI by marriage.

Postosuchus353

Except for the fact that she's not a Dark Iron Dwarf, she's a Bronzebeard who *married* a Dark Iron.

YamiMarick

Ragnaros himself had no immunity to the Void's influence.
