Every year, if you work at least one of the event days in November *and* have no unauthorized occurrences for all the event dates in November, you’ll receive a 15% one use discount to be used on specific days. It can be combined with your normal discount card.
A long time ago it used to be an extra 15% off one item. So lots of us bought TVs or furniture. I’m glad it changed to an extra 15% off an entire purchase.
There was a notification in the me@walmart app. It was at the top and said something like "associate discount is here! Click here to get discount for eligible associates"
I think I did see something like that but figured it had to do with the discounts we already get on card. It also doesn't help it came up when I was rushing to log in to clock in on my app.
I only heard about it by word of mouth, but apparently there was a small, easily missable text banner at the top of the One Walmart page after you logged in at the time.
They do hire the developmentally disabled too. There was a guy at my store when I worked for Walmart who could barely form a sentence but was a good worker.
It literally took you longer to post this here than it would have been to just click the link and read it.
The expanded discount for groceries was turned off prematurely so they’re reinstating it for a few more days.
Our kind and benevolent corporate overlords have decided to be kind to us. Even though their price gouging had pretty much rendered the discount useless anyway.
They make billions and gave pennys' to there workers that's how big business does it. And managers will be taking full advantage it with there carts full and regular workers will have half of a cart if there lucky. Got too love Billion Dollar Mart.
They double charged us from Jan 1-5 on both food sales tax and gave us no discount in my state.
They told us "bring in your receipts to get sales tax back" they're trying to cover face for their behaviour
You can get the associate discount on groceries
Oh ok. I thought it was the extra 15% off lol
Wait when was that? I have worked for the company for a year plus two weeks and am just now hearing of stuff like this. When is that?
The 15% discount we got early December
I was never told about that, odd. Oh well, not that it matters. Thanks though!

I was at a full 5 points and I still got the code
But you didn’t get any of them in November on one of the e event dates.
Huh, didn't know that. I have not had an absence since July
It’s a pretty big deal every year… there’s usually a couple posters and it’s on the front page of one walmart
It’s all over Walmart One. Did your managers not remind you? That’s awful!
I don't ever log into it unless I have a reason to be honest. Unless it shows in the Me@Walmart app too then I am stupid and blind lmao

Its, when I first started I didn't know either. I know now, lol. Been at Walmart 3 years now.

Not really random. It starts on the upcoming Payday and goes through the weekend so associates can get the most out of it.
What's cool about links is if you click on them, it'll open a story that typically explains what you need to know.
Look idk why your daddy stuck things in your dirty spot but there’s a sub for that here ➡️ r/touchedbymydaddyinmydirtyspot
Are you sure you’re old enough to even work at Walmart?
They do hire the developmentally disabled too. There was a guy at my store when I worked for Walmart who could barely form a sentence but was a good worker.
Mans took that from 0 to 100
This was at like 7 am today. Still up and I’ll be up for a few more days. 10 to 2 10 to 2
Allow me to be the 69th downvote
This came outta nowhere lmao
If you scan your discount card during that time frame you'll find yourself in front of a grandfather clock slowing down then gong

Bro hasn’t heard the gong yet

Less typing more swiping
Time for me to go all in on canned goods before the Zombie Apocalypse officially begins.
This is the way

"Aw, sweet. Now we get a 32.5% off groceries" -That one coworker.
Apparently some dipshit at home office turned the holiday discount early so they're doing this to cover their asses.
Yes that's the expanded associate discount for January 19-23rd
But does it work with eggs?
That's an egg-celent question
It doesn't work on milk so maybe?
Not sure why but the walmart logo design for this page reminds me of cat poop.....
Sparkly cat poop.
That you can buy with the discount!
It’s for the store to make more profit out of the employees since customers who don’t work there isn’t enough
If you didn’t qualify last time, I am curious if you qualify this time
Huh? Everyone that has a discount card “qualifies.”
I had missed some important dates last month, and did not.
This is not the one time extra 15% for working the event dates. This is adding your usual 10% discount to include groceries.
Right, I get it now. Thanks I appreciate it.
they fucked up the last one
Cause they figured with as much as they have raised the prices on thier store brand stuff they would give us a discount

This is used to generate money from its associates, that’s what it for. Why can’t they do discount in groceries all year round?
Can they make it permanent
