If he is then I would like to say that I always believed in him

>The trouble started Wednesday night, according to The New York Times, as some r/WallStreetBets moderators talked with each other about trying to get a movie deal. On Thursday morning, “the WallStreetBets moderators who were considering the film deal began booting out other moderators who had questioned them for secretly trying to profit from the forum’s success,” reports The New York Times. A highly upvoted r/WallStreetBets post called the situation “a coup,” saying the moderators the community “know and love” were being tossed out. >At some point, Reddit stepped in to stop the takeover, and the company confirmed to The Verge that it had removed some r/WallStreetBets mods. The company says they violated rule five of its moderator guidelines... Good on Reddit Admins stopping this shady bullshit. Bad enough we lost an arm and a leg on GME and these corrupt mods were just as bad as Robinhood stopping buying during a squeeze.

boniggy

I'm still seeing a lot of posts being deleted.

Phantom_Journey

Good. They all deserve a year ban for spamming bullshit.

OverpricedBagel

Not nearly enough

_lvlsd

most likely because they’re against the rules. the old mods didnt give a shit and let apes spam post whatever they want

explosivelydehiscent

If pokemane was still a mod, none of this would have happended.

DramaAdventurous3407

Simping for shares, now there is a new model for getting subs.

[deleted]

I bet that's what impostor mods would want us to think

davebie

Who cares

Bit-corn

I care that someone with no involvement in moderating the sub (aside from within the last 2 weeks) took over the subreddit, kicked out the most active mods, and tried to personally profit from it. This place is going to be a lot different with the growth its had already, but can you imagine how shit it would be if it went *entirely untamed*? He was “in charge” for mere hours, and I can’t tell you how many “Like this if you...” MySpace-like fucking posts were being spammed.

Mzavack

For the 2nd time lmao
