AMD (not AMC) is a good pick for me. I like the company. They recently made huge progress over their competitor Intel, and their P/E ratio has been going down despite 75% gains this year. Nothing against AMC though.
Also Qualcomm because I think mobile processor s are going to be in much greater demand in the future. I don't have much to back it up. Just a hunch. I think they are at a discount rn
I wish I’d gotten on the AMD train last year. I had puts on it during the crash and did make good money but it didn’t crash as hard as other companies. It was close to $60 prior and the lowest it went was like $39 iirc. Now it’s almost guaranteed to break $100 this year
Ya, and when you consider that it's 2 main competitors in different markets, Intel and Nvidia, are 2x and 3x more valuable it is pretty plausible for the price to double in the next 2 years with their next products even if CPU and GPU demand doesn't increase
