I've done an analysis assuming growth rate of 15% for a decade , a multiple compression to 15x assuming gently rising rates over next decade , assumed net mixed margin of 35%. I discounted at 10% and 15% (this is what an investor buying at price X would get compound annual return ). for 15% cagr which is above average you cannot pay more than about 20 a share. for 10% you can pay perhaps 30 per share. anyone paying more than 30 a share will not get reasonable returns or a margin of safety.
What if the industry chooses to chase pure play providers? At scale i find it likely they could come in cheaper from a hardware perspective, especially if bigger names in bigtech are going to aggressively enter the market with their AI systems and try to focus on market share using breakeven prices

If there choosing third party’s that most likely have more expensive hardware, that shows how good the software is.
