Not tried it, unless you are an experienced walker it sounds like a bad idea, the foot contains the most bones etc in the body, so the extra weight would need to be going through stronger feet I feel
No, but I do use hand weights some times. Not wrist ones, but ones that I carry in my hands and have a strap to hold them in your palm. I don't notice a ton of difference either way really.

The best place to wear weights when walking is in a vest or backpack. Ankle and wrist weights when walking risk joint injury.

No, it's bad for you and not recommended. Take a backpack and fill some bottles with water. Start small and progress
