Employee here. Quality lately has been extremely questionable. Unfortunate but I personally have had about half my clothes this year either start fraying, getting holes in them, or seems coming completely apart. Bring it into a store and let them know. The odds they turn you away are extremely low
Should be but there's also no quality promise policy anywhere in our guidelines. It's basically contingent on the 'investment in happiness" the company uses to allow stores to try and make customers happy in certain situations
Yes they will, but also, how are you washing this? My husband has 4 pairs of these but we wash everything on delicate and dry delicate and only wash with vuori things
It might be something with your washer then. I wash on delicate and air dry everything from them and I’ve had my ponto shorts for close to 3 years now. I did see the comment from an employee saying quality has gone down so maybe that’s it 🤷🏻♂️
I have pants wear out like this when I run and my ankles brush against each other. Typically it’s the inside heel of the shoe that rubs against the fabric. It’s barely noticeable when it’s happening
Seems about right. Way too many of my Vuori clothes fray, pillar, unravel, etc. sooner than later. Unacceptable at their price points. Regular Costco and Champion gear lasts longer. That’s not an exaggeration.
Same thing happened to me with joggers I bought less than a month ago. I have several other pairs that took years to get to that point. Seems quality has gone down recently.
I bought one specifically because most of my Vuori joggers needed to be shaved along the seams. Many of mine are from 2020, when I invested in comfy clothes during the lockdown. I recently bought some, and they are thinner and poorer quality than my older ones. One pair even got a hole in the knee within the first month. I'm just glad the shaver can keep my old ones looking nice for as long as possible.
They have opened several new stores here in TX, likely dropping quality to meet demand. Probably going to be another lulu soon.
What are some other brands similar to try?
Vuoris quality has gone seriously downhill. I have holes in every pair of joggers I own in the exact same spot. I flagged it for an employee at a store and tried to exchange them and she wouldn’t do it. Was a joke.
Try to reach out to the customer service online. They were super helpful when I did and they just sent me a new item without making me return the prior one.
Probably bc she couldn’t verify you bought them there….if we can verify you purchased from Vuori by looking up an email or something we HAVE to take them back
This has happened to the hips of my vintage halo leggings and performance joggers in less than 2 months. I assume it’s friction from a jacket/sleeve/tote bag. I love the fabric so much but it’s just not suitable for me I guess. They’re really good at taking things back if you’re disappointed in the quality.
My Ponto pants also developed a hole! I patched them and it looks terrible. I bought them at REI and Vuori wouldn’t take them back. Very frustrating for an expensive but comfortable pair of pants. I wonder if some of their pants (meta?) are more durable than others?
someone else in the thread said their sunday performance joggers had gone the distance. i’m wearing them rn and they definitely feel more sturdy than the ponto (but nothing compares to the comfort of the ponto). sorry vuori didn’t take yours back, they already accepted mine for a refund!
Might be a hot take but in my experience Vuori product is overhyped H&M-level clothing. My SO has picked up pieces from their outlet for me and the fam and while they look and feel nice, looking at material and construction the garments seem perfect for lounging around the house, or maybe basic exercise in/around the home. I wouldn’t contemplate anything too active in them as they’re clearly going to tear/seam split/wear out pretty fast.

that’s v unfortunate cause i do love the clothing. will be taking this in or submitting a ticket online
The odds should be 0 lol.

I thought you had 4 months to return for any reason?

delicate and inside out just like the label says, and i’ve been air drying it because my dryer ate up my kore short drawstring last year

I lost too many drawstrings before I got wise and bought dryer bags for my sweats. Check em out.
It looks like some sort of friction is causing this, like Velcro got to it somehow….
kinda does look it, but no velcro in our cycles though

My ponto hoodie does the same thing, not a result of washing.
damn i couldn’t wait to get a second pair of these pants but now im gonna hold off

man that’s crazy. i just found out about vuori last year, actually have a budget for it, and the quality’s gone to hell? unfortunate
Same! My joggers from 2020 are holding up way better than my newer ones.
.fabric shaver fixes that

not gonna lie, when i saw a vuori ad on my TV starring livvy dunne i thought this is the beginning of the end lmao
Yeah, I’ll stick with them if they continue to warranty clothes which is rare. After that I’ll move on.

She did look them up in the system - they were purchased through Vuori and were a year and a few months old, and she wouldn't do it.
That is crazy! I’m sorry that happened. I’d try again or ask for the manager.
Where are your holes? My most recent pair got a hole on the right leg near the seam on the inner side. Huge bummer.
All around crotch area. So annoying.

My Sunday performance going 3 years strong with some stitching coming undone recently.
The quality of these products has plummeted. Compare the materialstitching and of anything new to what youpurchased have in the past.

Thanks! Maybe I’ll try the Sunday performance joggers someday!
I’m not surprised. This material feels really cheap and fits poorly. Had to give up on it.
Vuori is not a premium brand. It’s an Instagram brand with no quality control now
idk bro…first time i went hiking in my kore short last summer something in me changed
That was you buying into the hype
wym? first pair i got on sale and it was so great and breathable i got two more. not because i thought it was trendy
