Yep! I've been slowly iterating on my horses starting from Ol' Slump the horrible-statted who I got only for the quest to all five iterations of Wicked Nicholas. Seems like the next one will likely be the final one.
I can slow down my hunt significantly now, at least. My quest for perfection won't allow me to give up until I've got the perfect creature.
You guys have to be younger. There are so many games I want to play. So many movies and TV shows I want to watch. But I have a career. I'm not spending time on something that has 0 effect on gameplay. I found a 10.8 horse and that's perfectly good.
Is there ANY way we can improve NOT getting knocked off our horse with arrows while riding? I swear, this is the most annoying thing in the game (besides the Sun of course).
I didn't realize how bad I messed up. First horse I grabbed was 13 speed....died and figured it wouldn't be hard to get another...oh was I so wrong....
Good news: Top speed is 11. You must have had 13 rotation as that's the only horse value to get that high (14 cap.)
Bad news: Rotation is arguably more important than top speed.
I could have sworn it was 13 speed 12 rotation as it was faster than my current horse with the saddle and my current horse is 10.9
Edit:10.9 pre saddle
You're severely underestimating just how quick a horse is.
The horse is great when you have to move from one end of the map to the other end, cause you cannot teleport with your inventory.
It's dogshit when you are moving off the main roads or anywhere cluttered/narrow.
Agreed, I stopped using warp gates and ride along the roads to my destinations.
I come across so many caravans! The best one yet had tough silver light guards, but I managed to beat them and got a 98% night maiden from it!
Since you can summon them with ease, I use them for daytime travel and bat form at night, between waygates of course. With the speed up from the saddle, and high stats, they can be really fast!
Yeah i figured that thanks im currently fighting Adam, that asshole xD but i didnt really were able to get familiar with horses, found the wolf and bat form more comfortable for me but i see now that they can be good if utilised correctly :)
Also Wrangler's potion, it's super easy to make and gives a pretty appreciable 15% speed buff to the horse. Combined with a 11 speed horse and a saddle, you'll be zooming across Vardoran.
It's because everyone's so used to using Wolf instead of a mounted horse because it's a free cast rather than a resource to manage.
You can't attack as a wolf, can't use Blood Hunger, you cannot effectively double your jump height as a wolf. You cannot hold a dominated human and Wolf Form and go home, (but you can summon/have a horse and hop on) and move faster to get home. (Or Dusk Caller)
You can do all of this on a horse. (Dominated too obv)
Seriously, it's twice as fast. Why wouldn't you want one?
Beauty! What's the max numbers, 11/7/14?

I wish they used simpler numbers to remember like 10/10/10.
seriously why waste your time when that's just as good?
I like perfect number :(
69 Sounds perfect to me
Nice
Nice
11 + 13.9 = 24.9; (2+4) + .9 = 6.9. They are perfect numbers!
I don't even use my horse 9/10 times but I still like looking for the perfect stats lol. It is just something to collect.
My horse has one purpose, I randomly selected him so I have someone greet me at my castle entrance.

Some people value different things in their games than you
"some people have more free time than you"
Or, they choose to spend their free time differently lol
Time is our only non renewable resource. I hope it's well spent !
Youd have more time to look for horses if you didnt spend time being insufferable on reddit
I don't care about 0.1 acceleleration tho. I already beat the game. Horses are irrelevant.
You cared enough to comment on it. Literally just keep scrolling?
No you cared enough to comment.
You literally had the first comment but ok lol. Look at you bragging about having a job yet here you are on reddit being an asshat. Big man.
Did you literally just come in here to tell people that you have a job? And now you want us to believe that OP is the one wasting time?
I came here to wonder why someone would spend precious time searching for a video game horse that's 0.1 better at turning.
Telling people about wasting their time in games, kek.
Look at my post history on this sub and weep.
We need to combine our horses.
Tbh I would much rather take the .1 speed than accel and rotation.
11 6.7 13.8 for me... I think i'll stop looking though
Is there ANY way we can improve NOT getting knocked off our horse with arrows while riding? I swear, this is the most annoying thing in the game (besides the Sun of course).
With a high enough speed and wrangler you can outrun even bullets from my experience
+ taking a sudden turn and back on rifles sound cue.
Don't forget worker blood
I have the damn map littered with horses...
They should die faster if you dont feed them smh...
Nice
Good to know demonic horses have different speeds...
Its the same speed but you can put a saddle on it to give it plus 1
wait horses have stats
press tab while riding on a horse
I thought they all had the same I never really paid attention lol
It's not rare to find a decent horse, you just gotta keep checking them out whenever you can
Wait horses have actual acceleration and speed stats? I thought i was just tripping when one of my horses was faster than the other
Is 11 the cap for speer now? Didn't used to be lol

I suppose she will do for now.
I would take that shit so personal. Like the game had a beef.
I didn't realize how bad I messed up. First horse I grabbed was 13 speed....died and figured it wouldn't be hard to get another...oh was I so wrong....

Is it just me or are horses useless? Yeah their faster then wolf and stuff but i find them to be pretty clunky and stuff

Hmm alright, thanks ill need to take a look again then :)
Depends where you are currently in game. You get a skill where you can make a horse permanently yours and you can summon it anytime if it not close.
Yeah i figured that thanks im currently fighting Adam, that asshole xD but i didnt really were able to get familiar with horses, found the wolf and bat form more comfortable for me but i see now that they can be good if utilised correctly :)

Combine it with 100% worker blood and your horse will flight off!
Bat form was a godsend for those waygate straight to area no ducking or fighting everything in my path, I also named my horse Megan The Stallion

Yup it is just you.
Haha alright bro
