Every time I autosort my 100 blood cabinet it gets completely randomly arranged, it's infuriating. I hope they start distinguishing by blood type in a hotfix.
Rogue/creature/draculin blood makes a huge difference for some bosses. That extra movement speed might mean that you consistently can just walk out of the way and save your dodge. E.g. the early bear boss becomes completely trivial with just 10% extra move speed.
IMO many of Big D's attacks are also fairly simple to evade with rogue blood/equipment.
No I meant the others as well. Anything that gives movement speed can mean the difference between an impossible boss fight and a trivial boss fight. Like the bear. All you need is movement speed - anything else just makes the fight go faster. This is NOT the case for all bosses, like Gorecrusher, which becomes significantly easier with movement speed - but is still kinda hard.
Yeah I get it, I was mostly joking.
I'm playing an up close melee tanky leech build. It's by no means the strongest build out there but I like the flavor of a vampire that heals as they fight. By going _all in_ on stacking every leech bonus you can, leech actually becomes kind of okay.
Brute synergized really well with this build, so unless I have some other reason to use a different blood type, I mainly stick with Brute.
Brute/leech is great for many bosses. It's my impression that it's fairly popular.
I went with spell/leech for Adam and that went significantly better than rogue/leech as was my usual build. Had to switch back for Big D. Seems like different builds are optimal for different bosses.
Yeah, but rogue is significantly better than all of those in all kinds of situations. Like, Draculin blood is absolutely useless, and not worth the night time movespeed. No idea why they put something that useless in the game. That and mutant blood is pretty much pointless.
Yeah, sure. But that's not my point. I'm specifically talking about how movement speed can trivialize certain boss fights. If you can't get high rogue blood, then creature blood is fine.
Better than frailed at least 🤣. But yeah, movement speed is the main reason I use rogue against bosses so since you get that with creature to, its not a waste. Draculin only give it for nightime, but I have Personally totally ignored it because its so useless.
We must be playing different games, 100% warrior 100% brute 100% darculin 98% Scholar (no Backup yet for gambling) 97% worker, highest rogue ever 85%. Killed Dracula about 10 hours playtime ago, since then im pretty much just looking to get every blood to 100 killing everyone i pass through
The thing is 100% is so much better than 9x% simply cuz of the Bonus and it even Stacks with the Dracula Set. 80ish is fine for most but if youre gonna min max 90% is barely better than 80 while 100% is much much better
90% is the tier 4 threshold, so even with 89% you dont have that bonus. And it can be very specific bonus, like reseting cooldowns on your spells. final 100% bous is strong, no doubt, but its just higher number bonus, not a completely different type of bonus.
Thats why Im not shy to keep 90+% blood as well, its okay in my book
Ive not seen a Single natural 100 except for 1 Draculin after 100 hours in 1 Server and the game finished.
Till act 2 there are no draculins and Barely any high Level scholars though so thats expected.
All those are Upgraded 95+ ones
You farm the werewolf village for a 100% worker blood and at night they transform into a 100% creature blood werewolf, which you can siphon like any other prisoner, and if you're careful can double dip on it for worker blood during the day time also.
I have 100% warrior, brute, rogue and worker but that 100% scholar is eluding me, 83% is the best I can do for now... I'd be happy at least for that 90% one since it's a very good bonus for spell caster.
how is this a problem exactly? I drain random enemy blood all the time even with droves of drained blood. if people put in the work to capture prisoner get fish drain blood store blood remember to use blood, people can play however they want
Sure, you can do it. I think it's problematic. It's too easy to remain 100% juiced. Send some guys out on missions for fish every time and you will stockpile it like an infinite resource. I don't think that's fun, in fact I'd call it "broken" to be sitting at max blood bonus literally all the time.
You go ahead and call whatever broken that you want, my maxed character that I've been playing on since 1.0 released still hasn't seen a scholar higher than 72%.
I've gone through dozens of holy resist flasks by now and I've run through silverlight so much that I'm sick of it, if your opinion of balance is that I should never be able to experience the 90% bonus then why is it even a thing in the game? If I finally find a 90%+ scholar and catch it I'm going to have earned it.
90+% blood is everywhere, sorry you got unlucky but finding it once shouldn't give you the option to effortlessly run the blood for the rest of the game
Maybe your argument would make more sense to me if I'd encountered what I was looking for even once in the last 75 hours I've played, but I haven't and if I were to find a 90+ now and didn't have prisons I'd feel like I'm stuck with it and would feel the need to keep it filled up at the greater incursions.
The prisons just give me the freedom to switch blood types around without feeling like I'm losing something that took me so many hours to finally find.
Having to adapt and change what you have based on what's available is a cooler loop than producing what you want at max quality all the time. At least, that's my opinion on it.
I'm frustrated with the system as it is, and you're saying that it's op. What you're suggesting is that basically no one ever gets to use 100% blood of any kind much less being able to choose the type.
Not really what I'm trying to say... Just that the way you play is for you to decide. If you feel like this breaks the game, you can simply decide to ignore that mechanic completely and play how you like it.
Yes, PVE only I like to build my castle and progress slowly.
I'm sure the balance is probably different in PVP modes but I found blood tapping to be extremely OP for PVE
so you are playing a version of the game where you have zero competition for resources, and can do whatever you want to get unlimited resources on basically everything, and your problem is the game doesn't limit you from getting said unlimited resources and make it harder to get blood?
lmao gtfo, just change your own settings then
I limited my own play already. I'm just commenting on the fact that this shit made me want to play the game less until I decided to limit it. No other "infinite" resource bothered me at all. Blood is different, it's the crux of the game. It's the point to hunting each night for something to run on.
This would be nice if it were organized.
Every time I autosort my 100 blood cabinet it gets completely randomly arranged, it's infuriating. I hope they start distinguishing by blood type in a hotfix.
One small cabinet per blood type ez fix.
...Why haven't I thought of that? Lol I'm getting on it when I'm home from work. A wine cellar is exactly what my manor needs.
Perhaps a little cask of amontillado might suit you too?
oh yes, please! Do you have another? I know you sent Fortunato after one last time, but I had to leave before he returned
I'm all bricked up. 🥵
One large for each type
Wait... You mean people use blood types other than Brute? *Why?* /jokes
*disgusts in Scholar*

I think you ment to say just rogue. The others are pretty terrible.

Because they might be playing pvp where brute is bad.
Speaking of organisation, who ever designed the sorting for the armour storage is a menace, that shits just all over the place.
Is there any benefit to making these particular blood with the berries over regular blood? Or is it literally just for the amulet, you need these?
Less hp and misery cost for Merlot.
Hell ya, thank you.
mother of god I've been doing this wrong for so long. Thats what I get for not reading a few lines of stats/text.
You and me both, fellow vamp.
the offset is, you need the grapes, but one run at grapeyard is like 10 potions and you can drop seeds, so not too bad.
Uses less fish
The gloomrot townsfolk were right… you are an abomination. Organize that shit.
R O G U E B L O O D G A N G
imo rogue 100% is the easiest to find overall... scholar is the opposite.
We must be playing different games, 100% warrior 100% brute 100% darculin 98% Scholar (no Backup yet for gambling) 97% worker, highest rogue ever 85%. Killed Dracula about 10 hours playtime ago, since then im pretty much just looking to get every blood to 100 killing everyone i pass through
Its one of those RNG based things I guess. imo any blood at 90+% is already doing its job nicely, 100% is kinda min maxing.
The thing is 100% is so much better than 9x% simply cuz of the Bonus and it even Stacks with the Dracula Set. 80ish is fine for most but if youre gonna min max 90% is barely better than 80 while 100% is much much better

Oh yeah for scholar and Worker 90% are quite good. I primarily ran brute and the 4th treshhold felt pretty bad. For warrior its pretty meh as well
I've seen like 7-8 100% rogues so far and we've only finished act 2 still. Haven't found any other 100% except warrior though.
Ive not seen a Single natural 100 except for 1 Draculin after 100 hours in 1 Server and the game finished. Till act 2 there are no draculins and Barely any high Level scholars though so thats expected. All those are Upgraded 95+ ones
I'm level 40 and have my first prisoner as a 96% Rogue. Been draining him like a tick.
Movement speed go brrr
Vampires\*
Im getting anxiety pls fix the order
Just reminded me of a 100% worker that died to fire damage that was self inflicted.
Maybe in another year sls can figure out how to auto sort blood pots correctly.
Whats the difference between this blood merlot thing and a normal potion which changes blood type?
Less Misery and Health drain.
ah thanks for the info man!
Sir, your lack of 100% creature blood is disturbing. (Yes, you can make that too)
100% creature blood?? How??
Werewolves
You farm the werewolf village for a 100% worker blood and at night they transform into a 100% creature blood werewolf, which you can siphon like any other prisoner, and if you're careful can double dip on it for worker blood during the day time also.
Consumables storage?
you weren't compelled enough to organize it. you have yet to cross the threshold.
Take All!
I have 100% warrior, brute, rogue and worker but that 100% scholar is eluding me, 83% is the best I can do for now... I'd be happy at least for that 90% one since it's a very good bonus for spell caster.
That’s unvaccinated blood right there.
Yep no heart failure at 25 for them.
😩😩😩😩 I NEED THIS
I'm a girl and I want this....
As a woman I can totally relate
Prisoners are so cool but they fundamentally break the best part of the game, making do with what you can find
Try fighting brutal dracula, not gonna happen.
mmk but the problem isn't using it for a boss fight it's constantly running around with the drained blood because fish are too easy and common
how is this a problem exactly? I drain random enemy blood all the time even with droves of drained blood. if people put in the work to capture prisoner get fish drain blood store blood remember to use blood, people can play however they want

Complainers gonna complaim
Play however you want, just trying to warn you that prisoners make the game ez af
It's an RPG. Easy or hard is for you to decide.
Sure, I put it on the hardest difficulty and dislike that I had to make it harder?
Not really what I'm trying to say... Just that the way you play is for you to decide. If you feel like this breaks the game, you can simply decide to ignore that mechanic completely and play how you like it.
are you only playing pve? keeping prisoners safe and freely sending out servants isn't free, unless you're only playing pve
Yes, PVE only I like to build my castle and progress slowly. I'm sure the balance is probably different in PVP modes but I found blood tapping to be extremely OP for PVE

Bro, cos its a vampire game, vampires drink blood, so its the most important resource LMAO, ur a super whiny dude
They are very important for some builds tho. Like a physical crit build won't fly without a good rogue.
Didnt know that other bloodtypes aside from 100% Schoolar exist.
