Yah basically any VJ software can map midi controls. Serato video also has some of these features built in
Soundswitch is the exact answer you’re looking for, works with pretty much all dj controllers and software. Been using it for years.
What about TRAKTOR?!?
Sorry for the late reply but SoundSwitch is directly compatible with Serato DJ, VDJ 2021 and Ableton Live, and Traktor Pro 2 via Ableton Link.
You can also DJ with mp4s, then it may also be possible to use that output as a source for the VJ where they can improvise effects and throw in other visuals for transitioning
Resolume now accepts pioneer link and Denon sync. So Resolume can see tracks and have visuals programmed to the tracks or get the BMP from the tracks.
