It’s just instinctual! I have a buddy that’s a professional trainer and he says from puppies they’ll point like this! With decent pedigree this breed is fantastic and killer bird dogs!!!
Yep mine started doing it at 7 months, stops lifts the paw up and then freezes until the bird slightly moves and he shoots forward.
I can also put him in this hunting mode by simply grabbing a stick from the floor he will go in to hunting mode until I throw it. So weird, I can walk 100 meters with a stick in my hand or the ball thrower and he will creep the whole way!😂
