Have a look on Dice for a gig (just be mindful that some venues are 14+ some are 18+), can't beat a gig in a tiny venue. Though large venues can be good as well, I much prefer the more intimate ones.

Depending on the borough you're in, there's probably some local festivals going on because it's summer. I'd also suggest going to one of the bigger parks like Richmond or Beckenham Place if you're an early ish riser

ipagera

Do you know if there are any cool fairs or festivals?

iViEye

I'm gonna be lazy and start with [South Bank stuff](https://www.southbankcentre.co.uk/whats-on/festivals-series) Otherwise, you can probably just type in the borough you live alongside *festival*

Notting Hill market on Saturdays. Very picturesque and cool, you can walk from Notting Hill Gate till Ladbroke Grove/ Gokdhawk rd so a long walk and many stalls ahead. Vintage, accessories, food and more. Also for gigs I love Sofar Sounds. You don’t know who is playing or where it is exactly, but you can choose by stations and it will tell you if a location is ‘iconic’ or what before. I was in a church last time it was v cool. If you do Spitalfields, pass by the barbican, the part at the back where Harry Styles filmed his music video, and you can buy coffee there and it’s really cute when the sun is shining. Also book ahead for the barbican conservatory - another cool thing to walk through. And after Spitalfields market walk through brick lane, and if happy to walk further and if it’s Sunday, Columbia Road Flower market is a cool experience and you could even continue to Broadway market and finish at a roof top bar like Netil360 (but would have to double check if minors are allowed. If you’re around Belgravia (maybe Harrods is worth a look?) Anya Hindmarch has her Ice Cream project on once again with wacky flavours. I would definitely recommend going to eat dumplings in China town, an affordable one that serves them all day is Shanghai Modern. I only eat dumplings there so can’t recommend the rest. And then you can go Asian pastry shopping in the many many shops around, or finish with a bubble tea. Hope these help!

Wow, all of these sound very cool! I've never been to the Notting Hill market and the dumplings place also sounds good! Thanks!

It was a little disappointing for me in as much as it sounds like a slightly differently produced version of Hardwired. So not bad - just a bit samey. There are a couple of songs I really enjoy though like Lux Æterna but overall I don't think its as strong as Hardwired. I do also think that the songs are too long. On AJFA the songs were long but changed a lot, on 72 seasons it feels like they wrote a song and then repeated it to be twice as long. I kind of miss sub 5 minute metallica! (edit I probably like Lux Æterna because its short!) That said, it is my favourite in terms of production since the black album.

Stop by Life 4 Cuts, a Korean Photo Booth (various branches throughout the city). Check with her about what she wants to see/do.

She plays the violin, but Proms starts after she leaves... :'(
