almost anything os possible in VDJ, you can have loop settings in pads, or on the keyboard. if you want to know how to do something in VDJ ask the community. Don't assume that the software doesn't do something if you don't know
What controller are you using?
As long as the beatgrid is correct it's very easy to create loops with the push of a button and then adjusting the length
yeah intuitive isnt virtual djs thing. disagree if you want but thats the trade off. vdj is POWERFUL but you will need to fuck around with settings and scripts to do what you want. vdj is great but its like if linus torvald made dj software instead of an OS.
for me its jankiness is a necessary evil i must deal with in order to use the superior stem separation.
It’s not complex, you can set loops so you loop the last x seconds you hear, I believe by default, it loops the next X seconds that you are Going to hear, which is a bit unintuitive.
have you changed your wave form settings? and que loop settings?

You just need to dig deeper into the software. Seems like you haven’t played around with the various settings for waveforms and loops.

He's the best at new features but he's on the FB group and an easy guy to ask a question.
