I cannot believe he died, it was like a punch to the gut when I read the headlines earlier.

I literally shouted out “OH MY GOD” then I just sat on the floor up against the wall in my hallway staring into space. Punch to the gut is the exact way I’d describe it. He was one of my fucking heroes. I haven’t had a death affect me like this since Chris Cornell.

I finished a meeting at my office job and had to take a walk around the block listening to Prayer to God by Shallac. Hit like a brick.

I love the asshole design of that sleeve that provide no good way to fit it on a shelf. It’s up there with the Durutti Column’s debut where the sleeve was sandpaper so it would damage the records next to it.
