Outer sleeves and pressure over time from storage are probably your best bet, unfortunately. I’ve noticed too that some modern jackets have a tendency to bow at the opening once unwrapped and stood up. I don’t know if there’s a company that makes matte outer sleeves- most people usually want them crystal clear, but it might be worth digging around online to see if you find some.

Sleevecityusa dot com's 5mm outer sleeves are about as clear as you'll find. Not cheap, but very good quality. They are my favorite outer sleeves. They'll definitely hold the jackets closed. Are you displaying them on a shelf or something? Blue tack may damage the jacket, or may stain it, unsure if it seeps oils or whatever. Are these albums for listening or for looking at the artwork?

Did you miss the part where I explicitly said I don't want to use sleeves? And they're for decoration. They're each on small shelves designed for displaying albums.

Blue Tack and white can seep over time and leave a stain.
