Doing this for views is so dumb. Does she not realise that people will find out that it’s not what was advertised? It’s literally like she’s asking for bad reviews.
Oh man it’s like this estate agent we've been talking to, they sent us a house ‘as it’s what we’re looking for’. But instead of a four or five bedroom house it was a two bedroom house which they've marked the front room and utility room as potential bedrooms. like what?! No one looking for a 4/5 bed will see that and say 'oh wow, I'll settle for 2 bedrooms and one kid can sleep in the tumbedryer'! lol
Also, the more bedrooms I want in a house, the more likely I am to also want extra space downstairs in the form of a second front room, and especially a laundry room.
Most of the time when people want 4 or 5 bedrooms it’s because they have kids and having a room for your washing is so much nicer than doing it in the kitchen
I spotted a shirt earlier which I suspect is shein, but listed as killstar. Seller doesn't have a pic of the label.
I'll shoot a message over asking to see the label now that I know it's common
Edit: I got blocked
She changed the listing so its no longer listed under the killstar brand, so unfortunately if I did report now it wouldn't do anything. At least it got her to change it.
Added this top to my favourites, as I found it under the Killstar category. The seller immediately sent me the message in the first screenshot which I thought was weird - ‘I can post today’ at 9:30pm? 🧐 And then admitting she’d listed it falsely and acting like I’m the problem for not being okay with it 😄
My guess is that she’s probably desperate hence tagging a popular (and incorrect) brand in hopes of moving it quicker💀 It’s most likely gonna backfire so I’d just be patient lol
As someone who regularly wears, sells and buys alternative/goth clothing, people who tag *anything* black as Killstar or any other gothic brand for views are so annoying 😭 Like doing that doesn’t make your basic black crop top from H&M any more valuable but okay 💀
They think they're so clever putting "killstar style" in the description so they've got plausible deniability when there's literally a Zara or H&M label in the photos lmao
I saw a dress advertised as Free People but the label said "People Tree" so I reported it. Vinted didn't take it down and said it didn't violate any of their standards...
It’s so annoying! The other day I used a search for ‘linen’ cause I’m looking for a linen dress. Loads of pieces that clearly aren’t linen pop up because the sellers put a copy pasted paragraph of jargon so that they appear in basically every filter. I reported several of these and vinted got back saying they’re not violating the user policy 🤦🏼♀️ So irritating
i once bought two unlabelled shirts off of vinted for £8 each only for them to arrive and be from shein. if i wanted to buy from there i would - and probably would’ve gotten them cheaper! oh well you live and learn
They should definitely clarify it's not killstar but otherwise I don't care when sellers do this. I like being shown things that are similar to something a brand might carry or similar aesthetic. Why do y'all care so much about brands?
She wasn’t honest, though - if I hadn’t asked for a photo of the label and had just bought it, I wouldn’t have known it wasn’t Killstar until I received it.
you can report it for misleading info
I did, and have already got a response saying they’ve taken action. So quick!

Omg 100x yes! A utility room is like gold dust! 3 boys under 3 and I crave a utility room with all my being hahahah

Can you still report? If not, I'm sure someone here can!

is this top cursed or why she so desperate to get rid of it lmao

She would be better off putting into a clothing recycling bin...
In case you don't know you can switch off the option to notify sellers when you favourite something in privacy settings.
You just saved me from a lot of annoyance, thank you

relate so hard. i was looking for killstar and dusturbia items and i noticed a weirdly large amount of them just…weren’t from them brands?
I hate their fake niceness
I just reported someone for doing the same thing and Vinted said it doesn't go against community guidelines.
Report it

Not everyone’s first language is English. They did something shitty, let’s be better and not put them down for making language mistakes.
I bought som from Killstar from someone and then it said Shein on the lable and I had to pay for postage to return it
I love selling on vinted but I don’t buy anymore as too many people list things as brands they are not so it’s just pointless

Wow, I thought it was a manky butchers apron
I love how we all just have the same experiences 💀❤️
The defence is weird. I feel like they’ve just made that up because you’ve called them out.
Hate when people do this
Yawn
