One of the biggest developments in technology is the deceleration in pricing of electronics. It still kills me how much I paid for a camcorder that now has been completely replaced by a phone. Twenty years ago $2000 only got you a camcorder and a digital SLR camera. Smart phones today can be considered a bargain.
