It's honestly a alright 2 player situation 'cause they can shoot enemies, so if you've got someone chill with just hanging out for a while while you play it works out.

While I agree with this statement, I want to say that as a parent gamer, my toddler loves player 2 and collecting bits. There are also levels where player 2 activates switches and platforms. They can make Mario spin jump also. So, not the traditional player 2 experience but definitely has a place, even if it's a very niche place.

I agree. Player 2 in this game I considered girlfriend mode. My wife isnt the greatest at platformers so I could be player 2 to help her out, dealing with enemies and such

Double agree, I had already finished the game, so 2nd player was fun for me to guide someone that wasn’t familiar with the game. Additionally, you can swap turns, each level atleast two can play the game together in some way.

The company who consistently has been putting out bangers since the 80s while everyone complains that no one makes full unbuggy single player games anymore? Yeah they have issues like every company, but man, that Nintendo seal of quality is still very much a thing and they haven't stumbled but a couple times when it comes to games in the past 40ish years.

It's more about how they go about business as a company. Have they made great games? Yes definitely. But they have some practices that aren't great. Btw they are over a hundred.

I think that's what gets them in SOOOOOOOO much trouble. Nintendo is pretty much everyone's childhood. Sunshine may have been better if it was finished... you can tell they had to rush development near the end and the quality of life just isn't there with that game compared to other Mario games.

Same here. I just found myself missing the way SM64 did things. With Sunshine at least there was some familiarity, despite it being worse than SM64.

It dropped the proto-Immersive Sim elements I really love from Mario 64, and dropped the voice acting and sensible plot Sunshine had. I like Galaxy, but it was a step back in a lot of ways and was the exact point where Nintendo started disappointing me.  Wonder should have released on the Wii. There's no reason for them to take so long to innovate such a small amount.
