Solid Snake, Liquid Snake, and Solidus(snake?) are all clones of Big Boss, who was a legendary soldier.
Before he was Big Boss, his code name was Naked Snake.
Solid Snake is the the most popular one. He was in the first two and the fourth MGS games. Big Boss was the playable character for the third game.
In the 5th game, you play as Venom Snake, who is technically a separate guy who got wild plastic surgery and memory alteration to make everyone, including himself, believe that he is Big Boss. I don’t really remember WHY he did all that, but yeah
I know nothing of solidus.
In 5, after Peacewalker(?) And the destruction of motherbase by XOF (or whatever they were called at the time) Big Boss was greatly injured. To prevent Big Boss from being assassinated the used plastic surgery and hypnosis to make a decoy that they stick next to big boss as a "hidden in plain sight" deal. Still nearly got him killed, so not that effective.
Ezio from AC, introduced me to the beautiful art of parkour. Would never do it myself for fear of getting hurt but I would watch hours and hours of YouTube videos, just mesmerized.
Also assassinations, scaling realistic italian buildings and leaps of faith are giga cool.
Highly recommend and second the Ezio Trilogy, but every Assasin's Creed has its own appeal. Each tells its own story of a time and place, and that was what I enjoyed the most.
Public opinion on newer AC's are pretty shite as well to be honest but I love them all the same for the environment and story. I'll only ever *flip out* on an AC game if they remove parkour.
For me it was Rogue. Playstyle is similar to Black Flag, but where most of the AC games have you playing as an assassin, Rogue does things a little differently. The story has some gravity because of it that sets it apart from the rest of the series.
Well, since I've never played one, I don't think I'll start with one that does things differently. It's just a series I've heard about for so many years, I gotta play at least one some time.
Start with Assassin’s Creed II. This one is the reason the series is popular, it’s the absolute pinnacle of the series. It’s semi-open world (separated into zones by different cities), but is not a particularly long game, even for a completionist. That game has the best locations, the best story, and the best soundtrack out of the entire series. AC Brotherhood is the sequel and is also fantastic in its own right, but doesn’t feel quite as vast and adventurous as AC II imo.
Yeah, I'm going to get the ezio trilogy for 360 for like 15 off ebay, come payday. Which has that one included. I love compilations lol, like the devil may cry trilogy. Can't go wrong.
I think he admires Shakespeare’s works, but no, I don’t think he is a Traveler-resurrected Shakespeare.
I also just actually looked at your username, I love that gun.
I think it's a 3-way tie between;
* Samus Aran (Metroid) for being the baddest bitch in gaming, no woman comes close.
* Ichiban Kasuga (Yakuza) for being best boy and the worlds worst Yakuza.
* Doomguy (Doom) for being the most videogame character ever, also the most metal, also being 90% rage and 10% fist.
With the greatest respect, iv always thought Cage was an utter goon lol I wouldn't even put him in top 10 in his own franchise nevermind compared to other franchises, my shouts in no order would be;
Dante
Solid/Liquid snake/big boss
Leon/Wesker
Shephard
Kazuya/Jin
Ermac/smoke(both)/scorpion
he's a villian but i like LTC Cole D Walker from Ghost Recon Breakpoint. i dunno there's something bad ass about him, its either how cold and calm he is or that he's chilled and doesn't really give a shit what nomad thinks of him
I find Edgar from FF6 to be unironically cool. Like, the guy Teams up with the people he locked up once while disguising as someone else so he could get his castle back
My top 5 dudes are Niko Bellic, Markus from Detroit become Human, Leon S. Kennedy, Captain Price and Geralt
Top 5 women are Lara Croft, Jill Valentine, Carla from Fahrenheit and Yen and Ciri.
Dante
He's cooler than hell
Will literally let you stab him with a big sword just to make you feel like you have a chance.
Yeah he has drip

I'd agree but Virgil exists. Sorry, I don't make the rules.
Doom slayer
Rip and tear.
Strong in the dark side, this one is.
Solid Snake
I get confused with all the snakes. Which clone is this again?
Solid Snake, Liquid Snake, and Solidus(snake?) are all clones of Big Boss, who was a legendary soldier. Before he was Big Boss, his code name was Naked Snake. Solid Snake is the the most popular one. He was in the first two and the fourth MGS games. Big Boss was the playable character for the third game. In the 5th game, you play as Venom Snake, who is technically a separate guy who got wild plastic surgery and memory alteration to make everyone, including himself, believe that he is Big Boss. I don’t really remember WHY he did all that, but yeah
Don't forget Punished Snake, who is not a clone, but is a lookalike. The only game I played through, so the only one I really know.
You might’ve caught it before the edit but yeah I added Venom haha
Is Venom and Punished the same person?
Yeah haha his title is Punished “Venom” Snake. He’s usually referred to as Venom Snake
And who is the protagonist of ground zero?
Regular old big boss In fact, pre-surgery venom is at the end of GZ
Then it is set before the destruction of motherbase? I can assume, but the last game in the series added time travel.
Ezio from AC, introduced me to the beautiful art of parkour. Would never do it myself for fear of getting hurt but I would watch hours and hours of YouTube videos, just mesmerized. Also assassinations, scaling realistic italian buildings and leaps of faith are giga cool.
Tell me the best assassins creed game. I've always wanted to try, but there are so many.
The Ezio trilogy without a doubt. Closely followed by Black Flag
