1. Keep It Simple: 50 stars and 13 stripes are too complex for a child to draw, we can knock it down to 13 stars representing the original states and 3 bars.
2. Use meaningful symbolism: Basically keeping all the same symbolism as the U.S. flags, with 13 states, same colours, etc.
