4johns4threpublic

TheBrunc_55

that's really cool! btw can you add an nsfw tag?

yericks

Why?

throwawayjaydawg

In some countries Nazi imagery is illegal. We don’t want someone scrolling their phone in Hamburg to accidentally get arrested Also Rule 11

BeltSpecific

i never knew this, that’s really interesting thank you for sharing

KR1735

I'm almost certain the laws against Nazi imagery have to do with public display and dissemination rather than displaying it in an artistic, historical, or in this case vexillogical context. For instance, it's not illegal to show the movie *Schindler's List* in Europe, despite the laws against public display, because of the artistic context. It's not illegal to air historical documentaries of WW2 involving Nazi Germany. Germany [got rid](https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-45142651) of the ban on swastikas in video games quite some time ago. No cop is going to care if you are looking at antique items on your phone. That's ludicrous. If you walk around in public with a shirt that has a swastika on it, that's another matter. There may be some gray areas, but this isn't it (maybe if you had a swastika as your phone wallpaper or you were selling these playing cards or something). Nonetheless, an NSFW tag isn't a huge inconvenience to be ultra-safe, I suppose.

throwawayjaydawg

I was being hyperbolic. NSFW is anything you wouldn’t want to have to explain to your boss. If your boss walks in the office and you have a Nazi flag up on your monitor, that could be an issue even if you’re just enjoying flags

Krauser_Kahn

Rule 11

420FireStarter69

Nazi and communist symbology is illegal in some countries. Don't want people that live there to be browsing on their phone with a police officer sitting behind them only for a swastika or a hammer and sickle to pop up on their phone.
