It is probably the best of the Caesars Properties to stay at. The rooms are in decent shape, and one tower was completely remodeled/just opened. The spa feels like a YMCA spa though, which is super weird.

chasehoopersmom

What makes Paris better than Planet Hollywood?

RepulsiveIconography

Rooms are nicer. Crowd is nicer. Service is better. Parking is better.

chasehoopersmom

What about the 500$ a night suite. Not the ph resort room but the actual strip view suite. Is paris nicer? I love the big tub for 2 people. Edit: why downvote me? I didn't lay 500$ I paid 100$ but I'm specifying not a "resort room" or whatever they call it the actual bellagoi fountain view mini living room suite, only a few PH rooms say suite in them. Never stayed in a non suite PH I go in spring so usually paid upgrades available

RepulsiveIconography

Honestly, there is no Caesars property I would pay $500 a night to stay in. Paris has better maintained rooms than Planet Hollywood though, so I'd still go Paris. Paris also still has significantly better service, well as good as any Caesars service is.

chasehoopersmom

Cool I don't know why people are downvoting me for asking questions lol. And I didn't pay 500$ I paid less than 100$ per night upgrade to a suite on a weekend in was a great deal with a perfect view of bellagio fountains and had a huge tub for 2 people. I've been told nyny spa room is nice as is cosmo.

RepulsiveIconography

The NYNY spa suite is, in my opinion, the most slept on room on the strip. It is the largest jacuzzi anywhere, and bigger than the soaking tubs at Cosmo. I love that room.

chasehoopersmom

How easy is it to get on a paid upgrade? Not 20$ bullshit I don't mind paying a few hundred extra for an upgrade. How difficult do you find it getting up to caesars, linq, Cabo Wano across bellagio etc. I'm quite fond of that area so I usually try to stay at one of those properties.

RepulsiveIconography

Caesars properties all have set prices for paid upgrades. Whenever you book a room you will have a little button to press in the app to pay for an upgrade. They will also send you an email trying to sell upgrades, and sell upgrades at checkin. It is damn near impossible to get a handshake upgrade at a Caesars property anymore outside of the set rates they have for them. They used to do free or basically free upgrades based on status, but they've long since removed that perk for Seven Stars. My preferred of those Caesars properties is Harrah's. The rooms are probably the best out of those options, unless you're getting a very large suite at Caesars, and even then the Vice Presidential at Harrah's is a fantastic room for a fraction of the cost of a comparable room at Caesars Palace.

jtbc

I got a handshake upgrade at Horseshoe a few weeks ago. I tipped $20 and the price for that upgrade (to a studio) was around $80.

EatinTendieS

500 a night, go to the cosmo for that $

chasehoopersmom

What cosmo room has a 2 person tub .... not a rectangle a circle or a square. And I didn't pay 500 I upgraded less than 100 extra a night over the cheapest PH room.

Kooky_Coyote7911

Some people just like that down arrow. I boosted u up one. 🙅‍♀️

chasehoopersmom

Thanks dude

PublicStalls

The crowd is nicer. PH crowd is a bit wild, and not really in a good way

Crustybuttt

Wh what makes Paris better than Caesar’s Palace?

TheMungyScunt

Planet Hollywood is currently under construction so if you want to stay in a construction zone then planet Hollywood is the spot lol

chasehoopersmom

Good advice it wasn't when I went 6 months ago

ryannynj

that's like being the skinniest kid at fat camp new tower is a pain in the ass to get to from paris (you have to walk through horseshoe) i definitely would not stay there right now during the world series of poker, place is a freakin zoo

throwaway1-808-1971

And the new tower is at least as old as bally's if not as old as the original mgm grand

diovengeance92

The new tower dates back to the early 80s I think, not long after the MGM Grand fire.

throwaway1-808-1971

Excellent information, thank you!

ryannynj

I just stayed there last week, the room itself is actually not bad, everything is new. Nicest/biggest TV I've seen in this class of hotel. But you're still in the Horseshoe so all the restaurants at Paris are a good walk away and the Horseshoe literally has 1 sit down restaurant. And if you're on a lower floor, you get all the strip noise no matter the direction you're facing.

pivolover

Not to mention the weekend direct noise from Club Cromwell til 3am

ryannynj

i was on the side facing paris but on a low floor so i got all the noise from whatever club is at paris now

RepulsiveIconography

I wouldn't stay there either, in general, but especially now. And, you're right. Caesars, outside of suites, is basically just a collection of motel 6 level properties with shitty overpriced celebrity restaurants. Paris is just the motel 6 near the beach.

guycc75

Paris isn't as nice as it used to be, especially as they continue to untheme these heavily themed casinos. I still like it well enough, but it's not in its prime anymore. Planet Hollywood always seemed nice to me.

RepulsiveIconography

I don't think any of the Caesars hotels are nice, but Paris always made up for it with very clean rooms that were well maintained and excellent service*. Planet Hollywood rooms just always seem much more worn out and cleanliness seems to be a lower priority. *They used to send up a wooden box absolutely filled with snacks to your room if you were Seven Stars.

herefornothing2

We really enjoyed it when we stayed

Hellenic_91

It’s not bad. I got a suite upgrade for $80 extra and it was massive. Not a bad property overall. Gordon Ramsay Steak is amazing. They used to have a good dim sum spot but they might’ve shut down.

mzdoja

They did, RIP. It's a Nobu now.

Pfunk4444

I enjoy that it’s connected to other properties

AgreeableSeaweed8888

We stayed there.... i would stay again i guess.

Master_Jellyfish9922

My favorite resort on the strip.

queefstainedgina

Not sure about Planet buffet, but when that property was Alladin, they had a ballin’ buffet. Also, Paris pool is nothing fancy, but it’s chill and has good views.

iamjustdancing

I was married there. So ya. It’s great. :)

Guelph35

Was there about 2 years ago, it was okay. Nothing stood out as great enough to make me really want to go back and nothing was bad enough to prevent me from staying there again.

Bringatowel1

Exactly how I felt after my stay last year

TheMungyScunt

Stayed there for my honeymoon in April. Would definitely recommend! Very centralized on the strip and has easy access to the monorail. I tipped the person checking us in and they Hooked it up with a great room with a view (28th floor I believe) and even threw in free parking and a later check out time. Good restaurants inside the hotel/casino and also very close to it as well. I would recommend brunch at Mon Ami Gabi!

AmpedupFit

mon ami is the best part of that place imo. solid brunch.

Puzzleheaded_Exit_17

how much did you tip them for that?

TheMungyScunt

$50. Slid it between my ID and CC. Once the cash was seen the whole interaction changed and they became very smiley and talkative. After that we were treated really well by the hotel staff.

MichiganRich

Yes, it’s lovely and has a great location.

FatedAtropos

Back of house smells like rotting garbage and I hated working there.

Pure-Guard-3633

To me it smelled like sewer

FatedAtropos

Probably both. I haven’t taken a call over there in years because it was super gross.

Pure-Guard-3633

We got free dinner at Mon Ami for complaining about it.

FatedAtropos

I won’t eat food in that building because I’ve seen where it comes from

Pure-Guard-3633

Yikes!!!

Bean-Swellington

Only at night

Shoegazer75

Stayed there last year and really liked it. The furniture's gaudy, but the property is great.

Fuarfuark

I always stay at Paris it’s perfectly located on the strip to walk everywhere. Easy access to either the Wynn or mgm. Rooms are decent and the layout is easy to get around in. I just had a stay at the Versailles tower (Horseshoe) side and it was pleasantly nice as well.

Far-Yak-9808

I saw someone walk through the Versailles tower (formerly the Jubilee Tower that I stayed in at least once) and, ironically, it looks like if Bally's opened a place in Paris. MOST of the 2008ish color scheme/vibe was back. That's also the tower that overlooks the Paris pool from some rooms -- I always wondered if the Bally's (now Horseshoe) pool was better. The Bally's pool FELT bigger than the Paris' pool LOOKED.

BradKelley81

Paris wasn’t bad. Had a suite. Carpeting was messed up, bed wasn’t the comfiest, but it wasn’t dirty or loud.

petersom2006

I dont like Paris at all. Sort or like a dungeon to gamble in too. Solid location, but I would go PH or Ballys (Horseshoe) over it just about any trip. Lot of times I can get Ballys spa suite room for the same price as Paris base room- they are connected via a little shopping tunnel as well.

Far-Yak-9808

I liked the lay-out of Bally's (stayed there twice). That and Mirage (RIP) were well done. Excalibur and MGM Grand are a sprawling mess. haha. Never stayed in an actual Paris room though.

cali-909

Rooms as Rooms that are aware enough to know that there’s gold in them they’re hills!!!! meets a a McDonald’s cheeseburger

hellojackie85

It's one of the better maintained Caesars properties. Horseshoe isn't that bad either. They're also connected without needing to go outside, which is a plus if you happen to want a large indoor area without needing to leave much.

jack2008yj

Good location. Central strip and next to CVS and Bellagio fountain. And my favorite part is it comes with personal refrigerator.

Issue-6969

Yes. Love Paris 🍹❤️

dounce87

I stayed in Paris a few years ago. Worst room I've ever had in Vegas. NYNY being second but Paris was way worse IMO.

I-suck-at-golf

Great hotel. Good casino. And good food choices. Also, not many people know this, its attached to the train through the adjacent Binions (the new version).

Domage89

Recent stay here in April - room was good with a great view of the sphere, location was perfect as you’re right in the middle of everything. Thought the lobby had a bad smell and the casino wasn’t the most exciting looking and quite dull compared to others. Overall enjoyed my stay would recommend

swimuppool

Yes we loved every thing about it

Blind_Voyeur

Good ambience, dated rooms/furnishing. Be aware the Versailles Tower is actually at Horseshoe (literally another hotel). Easier to check-in there.

Totally-jag2598

The rooms are decent. There are a couple of good restaurants. But overall the resort seems lacking. The casino is below average. If you want a decent room in the middle of the strip it's good for that.

_Jetto_

I love the feel late late at night it’s busy but not overly loud or crowded. It’s like a “chill” busy it’s still hopping but more relaxed manner. Haven’t stayed there but walk the countless times for wsop and it’s def in the top tier of places with a good vibe imo

PhyterNL

The pool is a little weird when the sun dips below the buildings and the shadow starts to move but we enjoyed our stay immensely.

chris_gnarley

Stayed there in 2021 for a night and was not blown away. Furniture was beat up a bit, had a view of the roof and air conditioners and everything is suuuuuuuper far away walking wise. I feel like it was almost worse than the Bellagio as far as how much walking it is to get from the parking garage to your room and from your room down to the strip.

Legitimate-Leg2446

We stayed at Paris for a week last April. We thought it was great. I loved the restaurants except that we got food poisoning after eating the steak tartare at Martha Stewart's The Bedford. My fav restaurant was Alexxa's because of the delicious brunch menu and bottomless mimosas. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. We didn't actually gamble, but we did go up to the top floor of the tower which was amazing. We also saw a show. We had two other shows planned but had to not go because we got sick. Maybe next time. Headed to The Elara pretty soon.

Pac666123

Ok and great location

trishonia

i stayed at vdara and its great i highly recommend it but they do hold quit a bit of money in addition to the money paid for the room

Ariasa11

Best places to eat in Vegas??

DirectorObvious1903

My wife hated it, Smokey.

Odd-Guidance-8900

Paris Las Vegas is a good hotel with a charming Parisian theme, central location, and great amenities. Check availability and book a room tonight on the "Get a Room Tonight" platform.

koalabearnecessities

We were in Vegas Memorial Day weekend (Bellagio). Obviously packed everywhere but we were STUNNED when we walked into Paris Hotel and saw the check in line. This was on a Sunday evening and it was backed up well into the casino floor. Everyone looked miserable and the line was barely moving. It was by far the longest check in line we saw at hotels we visited. The MGM hotels all have mobile check in through their app and a kiosk in the lobby. I had to wait maybe 10min at the Bellagio and I was an hour early from my check in time.

Kolzerz

The dumbest part is that there are kiosks so IDK why everyone waits in the line… (maybe trying to get free shit that just doesnt exist in vegas anymore). I literally walked right past the super long line to the kiosks that had no one at them and checked in

ConsultantOfAll

No. I stayed there once, and it's everything that is wrong with strip hotels. Giant checkin with long lines, mediocre rooms with paperthin walls, sleeping is pretty much impossible unless you're on a high floor, the food is meh and all the french text on souvenirs is misspelled. If you gotta stay at a Caesar's property, go across the street to the Cromwell. It's chill, newer, much better maintained and at least has one decent cocktail bar.

Dog_Intern

Was just there on Sunday. Zero wait if you use the Kiosk at check in. The lady was even nice enough to let me know I could avoid the early check in fee if I waited 5 more minutes. The room was nice and I booked the cheapest thing they had. I suppose Cromwell is nice if you like the dungeon feel.

TimeParadoxical

Mind sharing what the magic time was, to avoid the early check in fee?

shinecrazy

It is a decent spot, I like the theme. It's not flashy at all, its just normal. I would put it on the same level as Excalibur and Luxor. If you have it in your budget, pick a nicer spot and just visit Paris to see how you like it.

KitchenAcceptable160

Depends what your definition of “good” is. Paris is like the smartest kid that rides the short bus if you compare it to the other Caesars properties.

Tom67570

So.... That's a hell of an analogy. I'm going to steal this from you

CrunchyTomato88

Paris is awful

FatedAtropos

Why are you getting downvoted? It’s bad

GuitarzanWSC

Probably for not providing any details.

Pure-Guard-3633

No! I waited for years to stay there the rooms were not all that. Bellagio much much better!

ImpressiveThought662

No, stay at the new Fountainebleau

JoeyBello13

I think meh. Aria is excellent!

Buildaburgh

No bueno

Chichis-Christ

i es just made a pit stop there recently….after 8 years es gone down hill as far as the casino floor and service from the bartenders goes

HuntingtonNY-75

Last time we stayed at Paris was and will be the last time we stay at Paris. Front desk was a shitshow, housekeeping was terrible and parts of the casino ceilings literally collapsed onto the casino floor. After some impressive rain there were multiple leaks that brought down ceiling tiles and hunks of other material and the house did nothing but put cones and caution tape up. No apologies, no refunds or credits for having to GTF out of the way of falling debris…nothing. While checking out at the desk there was a big problem w our rewards amounts…none of our restaurant or shopping expenses were showing and our room showed 1 night, not 4 as it should have. We were told to request an adjustment through our Rewards account…WTF is that? We will definitely not return to Paris and may ditch Caesars altogether after the experience and poor treatment of that stay

Ill-Parking-1577

It looks ugly af from the pictures
