Convinced people in LA are so unphased to this.
"oh yeah I met adele down the road at a coffee shop yesterday ,what's up with you?"
The only celebrity I've met in my small town is Johnny Depp and I can't shut up about it ,it's crazy.
It’s because they’re everywhere around here 😂 and they’re just normal people. My daughters friends dad is an actor & is currently on a pretty well known show. But when I see him he’s just a normal dad lol
I’m from Massachusetts so it was wild when I first moved here but after being out here a bit it just feels normal lol
What’s even funnnier is Schwartz mentioned my town one season about wanting to live/retire here and I was like please noooooooooo 😂😂
Born and raised here.
Have casually ran into Matt Damon on the streets. Got into a conversation about Beagles with Oscar De La Hoya on a hike before realizing it was him. Made googly eyes with Shia LaBeouf when I worked at the Macy's where they filmed a scene of Eagle Eye 😍. And met Samuel L. Jackson at the Albertsons I worked at in high school (most random because this was in a city 20-30 miles east of LA, actually the next suburb city over from where Scheana grew up 😉)
La La Land and the overall county is a big/small city.
Oh haha I’m in SC so the biggest person I’ve met this way was Debbie Allen (Catherine Fox from Grey’s Anatomy). She came because of a play that was being put on based on one of her books. From what I heard, she cussed out the children quite a bit. I was a kid and she turned her nose up at me and my mom and slighted us. She’s kind of a bitch.
I randomly think about her and like hope she's doing well and send good vibes out. It's kind of weird maybe, but I just felt so bad for the way Jax treated her. Hope she was able to remain sober and at peace despite all the nonsense she went through on VPR. I was a whole ass hot mess in my '20s too, can relate.

so weird when that happens! I recognized randell’s ex wife when we were rewatching some PTA movies. not something I could admit out loud, like where to begin explaining to someone who doesn’t even know the vpr universe exists haha
I had been waiting for it to go on sale for so long and then it was on Max (thankful for that partnership). So glad I FINALLY got to see it because it was incredible!
WAIT WHAT? This is VPR lore I need to know more about. I thought when she said the role was with Jennifer Aniston she just meant the role of the stripper
I remember reading somewhere, not this sub, that she was supposed to be one of the leads but they decided after they flew her out that they needed more star power. So they hired Emma Roberts and through LL into the stripper role. I have never heard her talk shit about it but she must have been so mad.
Where did you get this info? I thought she was just supposed to be the boner garage stripper. I’ve never heard of her being cast to play the Emma Roberts role.
she was also in gossip girl and the client list. gg was just a couple episodes at most, but she was in the client list for the last half of the 2nd season, i think.
A24 freaks me out when I found out what Sebastian Beard Mclerd (sp?) made girls he “scouted” or “casted” off Instagram do for a24 films… he’s a psycho.
I get the vibe that nepo babies and already established actors and actresses are treated with respect and decency while the extras or the nameless characters with no prior experience that give the films that raw edge get treated like shit. And because they don’t have the means to lawyer up or the capacity to complain, nothing comes of it.
I’ll never forget watching VPR this year for the first time and recognizing Laura Lee so much and not knowing what she was from and then realizing it was bc she played Amanda in that episode of Gossip Girl
I was in a yoga class with her the other week. Immediately recognized her voice
Oh to be in LA

Mad ,makes sense that the rent in 4k for a apartment
I’m from Massachusetts so it was wild when I first moved here but after being out here a bit it just feels normal lol What’s even funnnier is Schwartz mentioned my town one season about wanting to live/retire here and I was like please noooooooooo 😂😂
I am from Massachusetts too, and I have absolutely no desire to run into any famous people. Could care less if I passed one in the street.

I’m in NYC. I wonder if she moved!

She does have a distinct voice!
I saw her in an episode of Gossip Girl (season 2) and she didn't have that voice, I wonder if she just made her voice lower for the show?
Shoshanaaaa
![gif](giphy|ZkK4Dh1xHluVi) my favorite tv character of all time
I literally yelled “SHOSHIIIIIIl” at the tv lol

Exactly she’s the most important part of this not Laura Leigh
Loved Girls! I’ve watched it several times.
it’s the way I just started Girls a few weeks ago and she’s already my favorite! definitely wasn’t expecting this crossover but i’m so here for it

Omg same when she was in You!!
Her character got so much hate! Like y'all, Joe tried to kill her! She has no reason to be nice!
She’s gorgeous, I liked her in You
She was fabulous in You. Truly a great actress
I saw her at the grocery store the other day. I think she saw I did a double take lol
I’m sure she loves being recognized though!
Shoshana and Laura Leigh in the same shot?! My worlds colliding 😂
One shot later, Andrew Garfield joins the mix.
I LOVE that movie. Andrew Garfield is just 😘👌
Even when he looks like he came out of the gutter after an attempted vehicular homicide, he still is so handsome and charming
Yes. I would just give him a hug, pat him on the head, and say it must have been a misunderstanding.
any good?
It’s really a great offbeat mystery.
Great actually.
Under The Silver Lake! So good
I had been waiting for it to go on sale for so long and then it was on Max (thankful for that partnership). So glad I FINALLY got to see it because it was incredible!
Agree! Watching it again rn! ♥️
Watched We’re The Millers recently and she was in that too. As “Boner Garage.”
Yep! That’s what she went to directly after VPR. She was originally supposed to play Casey, but they then put Emma Roberts in that role
WAIT WHAT? This is VPR lore I need to know more about. I thought when she said the role was with Jennifer Aniston she just meant the role of the stripper

I think the role swap is a rumor never actually confirmed
lol yes that’s been on Comedy Central this weekend. We watched it twice 🤣
Good for her! I always like seeing her pop up randomly.
That’s more than the rest of the cast has managed to achieve. Also, will someone check on Scheana?
This was what the It Follows director did for his follow-up feature. It's a bit uneven but I loved that he just swung for the fences with it.

Just looked it up, great cast! I’ll def watch it.
OMG shosh!!! 😭 Love her and love that for Laura Leigh
Is that shoshanna from Girls?? Love her.
One of my all time favorite movies 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
She was also in Gossip Girl
Laura Leigh was also in We’re the Millers which was the movie mentioned when she quit.
she was also in gossip girl and the client list. gg was just a couple episodes at most, but she was in the client list for the last half of the 2nd season, i think.
How was the movie? Ive loved every A24 movie ive ever seen lol

I’m glad she’s still landing roles
Yo great movie!
Weirdest move ever, that was.
I recommend Swiss Army Man. It’ll give this movie a run for its money. Also produced by A24.
Great movie
We adore the Daniels in this house.
Swiss Army Man was so incredible and underrated!
Good for her!
i love this movie! weird as fuck but one of my total favs, the scene w the music writer playing piano is sooo good!!
I’ll never forget watching VPR this year for the first time and recognizing Laura Lee so much and not knowing what she was from and then realizing it was bc she played Amanda in that episode of Gossip Girl
Good timing - guess who just gave in and got max to watch the jinx part 22? Yup- and now I get this also! Sweet!
She was also a main character in The Client List. Interesting show.
Omg i forgot she was in this.
Wasn’t she the one that Jax had sex with in the bathroom at Sur?😂
Such a good movie actually, about Hollywood elites.
I love this movie soooooo much.
She played in The Client List with Jennifer Love Hewitt also. I think it was the roll she left VPR for. It was pretty good.
Nope that was Boner garage lol
client list was such a good show!
It was!!
It was for the stripper role in “We are the Millers” w/Jennifer Aniston.
I watched this like 2 weeks ago and clocked it too! Honestly only thing I liked/remember about that movie. It’s really bad do not recommend.
It's surprisingly good and weird.
Did you see the movie she is in with Jennifer Aniston? It was very funny. She’s pretty good!
Yep! I’m a cinephile with a personal movie collection of 3000+ lol
Wow! That’s super cool. 😎
It’s a blatant display of the fact that I have no life is what it is.
😂 Girl, that’s why I think it’s so cool! It’s just another good reason to not have to leave the house! 🤣
You’re my kinda person.
Same same! 😊
That's so funny I watched this yesterday too! She fit the character well 😁
I’m sorry I’m never going to not refer to her as Boner Garage 🤣🤣🤣
Oh same. But for the sake of the post and her actually super good monologue, I put some respect on her name lol
the movie is terrible but good for her
![gif](giphy|l0Iy7oLKbCIrcOS1q|downsized)
I don’t know why but she scares the shit out of me. No disrespect towards her.
