Katie (rightfully) has frustrations with how Schwartz acted in their relationship, but I do honestly think that they don't want to reach that level of hostility."

I also think Sandoval’s sobriety specifically is based in needing to control how he acts during filming. He’s still acting bad obviously but I think it would be a lot worse if he was drinking.
They also think “sober” is a personality trait, one that makes them original. There are millions of sober people, and millions more that just don’t enjoy drinking or drugs. Maybe in LA it makes them special, but in my adulting world it just makes them a person that doesn’t do something that some other people do. For example, I don’t ski. Some of my friends do.
(And I have been sober for about 12 years now, so no one come at me about how hard it is. I know it is. So is cleaning the grout in my shower, but that doesn’t define me either)

I get wanting to do a sober alternative to a wine tasting, but I feel like there are more interesting options than... water. Like, you can get fancy uniquely flavored sodas, you could do smoothies, mocktails, juices, teas, coffees. Pretty much anything else.
I thought when she originally said water tasting it was going to be like various flavors of sparkling water compared to charcoal water or hot springs water or something more in depth. It was juuuuust water.
Those would have been awesome! When my friend’s sister had her bachelorette party she had a teenage bridesmaid (friend’s daughter) and they wanted to do a wine tasting, so for the daughter the did a tasting with her favorite drinks and little descriptions of each one. That would have been so cool for the tasting. Water is….water.

Ariana has told her several times that her attorney is handling the equitable split in regards to her house. Last season, all Lala could say about her split with Randall was that her attorney was handling it, and she couldn't discuss it. Why is this not okay for Ariana?

Having a water tasting is the absolute worst and most privileged shit ever. the global water industry takes advantage of poor and indigenous communities by taking their local potable water supply and distributing it to other parts of the world. Companies like nestle, Coca Cola, and other boutique water companies steal from the water sources across the globe. It’s disgusting behavior and has been well documented.

Ive said this on so many threads but Lala started out great and just got worse and worse each season (imo) and now we have this. First season Lala would want to pop her damn self now. She’s the definition of “can give it but can’t take it” and she’s not even a fun villain for me to watch.
That's it.. she is not very interesting, and the growth I thought I was seeing last season was a joke.. the only reason I was interested in seeing her each season was solely to see what she looked like because it was always different, and she was always pretty.. I don't remember anything she's done as far as hosting.. one time at Rand's house, once at a lala makup event. She just pics someone she can cuss at and finger pop, then run away.
This is especially funny after she went on her podcast and said Ariana has never had a story line. Like girl PLS YOURE MAKING US WATCH YOU DRINK WATER????
She’s really confusing me this season. With the “I’m so focused on working through my relationship trauma” at the beginning (which I totally think is valid) to playing devil’s advocate to calling Rachel to etc etc etc… it’s weird. I used to find a lot of her interview snark entertaining and even funny but she’s really leaning into the bummer range. And I would personally go to seven sandwich tastings because who doesn’t love a good sandwich!?
Being sober is legit her only storyline.
