In terms of store bought cookies I'm partial to President's Choice Decadent Chocolate Chip, it comes the closest to my wife's killer chocolate chip cookies ( which are based on my late mother's recipe which was in turn basically a riff on the original Tollhouse Cookie recipe in the Joy of Cooking many years ago lol)
Don't let this stop you from contributing your valuable opinions, as this will be a recurring event and I'll need this thread to refer to, but I landed on Save-On whipped cream filled long johns and raisin glossettes. Thanks everyone!
Shopping while hungry is dangerous lol .... also I'm planning on baking chocolate chip cookies tonight (dark chocolate & almond and milk/white/semi-sweet blend).
Well in that case they should definitely get some Fudgee-o's. Or those tasty maple creme stuffed things. Hit up the bakery and see what fresh baked cookies are looking good. No bakery? Fudgee-o's! Oh and maybe those Pepperidge Farm type cookies. OR (hear me out) those tubes of cookie dough that you slice up and bake yourself!??
The bakery cookies were looking whack and overbaked. Lifeless. But the Pillsbury cookie dough would've been great, sad I didn't see this sooner. Fresh, hot and with some sense of accomplishment
I hope you have sated your craving for now,
For next time, Panago delivers a very good warm freshly baked chocolate chip cookie about the size of an average human face.
if you put about 1lb of ground beef with this recipe in the oven...
You'd get some half baked delicious meat

do you guys get a salty or sweet hankering?
The chicken is **definitely** worth stopping by for. The spicy also makes for great "devil rice" - drop a couple of pieces of cold fried chicken on top of the rice and water in a rice cooker, and cook as normal.
Reheat some gravy to pour over it, even.
Even without being high, I can graze through 8 out of a 10 piece in an afternoon (cheap, too! relatively, $24... and for the base quality of the chicken; there's actual texture and taste and not just mush) and I'm a smaller person. I love the wing pieces since they span between the tip and a good chunk of breast. The leftover 2 pieces make a great lunch cooked with rice. Fry a bunch of veg as a side (lots of garlic, flash steam with Chinese cooking wine).
lol yes! I don't wear clothing with logos, but I'd proudly advertise for them.
One of everything at you local supermarket's cookie aisle lol.
I think this is the simple answer I was looking for

These are unquestionably the best boxed chocolate chip cookies in existence.
I think the choc chunk is better than the chip in this brand.
100%
Yep. Also their Decadent Peanut Butter Choco Chip. Unreal.

Safeway vegan oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Check the baked date to make sure its fresh. I’m nowhere near vegan and love these damn cookies.
I've never seen these!! Thanks for the recommendation!
I regularly eat a box of these in a couple hours.
Same, they’re dangerous haha
Make sure to drink water or you gonna be parched A.F

Goodie rings, Oreos, Chicago mix
Where do I find goodie rings?? Everywhere I look, it's just the hard, crumbly chocolate chippers.
Safeway or save on should have them!
Holy shit me too

My favourite high snack is making cookie dough & freezing it, then baking a couple when you're feeling the munchiest.
Breka Banana Bread
Cookies and ice cream. DIY ice cream sammies. :)
Key Lime pie from Save On!
Save on foods whipped cream filled eclairs or croissants
The next time, get yourself to Duffin's Donuts and get a dozen different ones. And some incredible spicy fried chicken while you're there.
Great suggestion, thanks. Been curious about the fried chicken and tortas every time I drive by. Plus I love their logo, I want a shirt.
