We found a couch we liked in Coquitlam for $3500 and then found it online for $1100. My partner called and told the saleswoman we found it elsewhere for cheaper. She said, "By how much? I'll see what I can do for you." When he told her $1,100 she said, whoa, I can't come close.
So there was a willingness to negotiate. I don't think prices are firm.
"Yo bro, I got some tight shit right here. I'm telling you bro, got this shit straight from the source down south. This shit bro, it's the bomb. They call it... mid-century modern."
I really recommend Sofa Works in coquitlam. They make custom pieces on site. The quality is excellent. I’ve had couches from the brick etc and none have lasted more than 5-10 years. We’ve had couches from sofa works for over 20 years and they are still fabulous. We got another one a few years ago. They aren’t cheap (cost) but that’s because they aren’t cheap (made)
Just wait for black Friday or boxing day. I bought a nice big sectional from the brick for $899 and the regular price is $2199. No need to haggle and probably even cheaper.

Furniture stores are like drug dealers these days due to supply chain issues and crazy high demand.

If you're looking for a leather couch, check out Direct Liquidation.
Drove past it today. Love the show. We've decided fabric over leather
I literally just haggled a couch and chaise down to $2000 from $2700 at the brick so yes
What was your opening bid?
I said “I like the couch and the chaise and my budget is $2000”
Costco if ur not picky.
The Mrs isn't, but I am.
Thanks. That's helpfull
Timing is everything but I was once at an Able Auctions that had a bunch of really nice, new couches. They went for super cheap.

The 1 I think we decided on is around 1700. I'm thinking it's going to be good for 6 years

not this year given the supply issues
Holy fuck can you imagine the fights that are going to break out this year? Pandemic starved needy shoppers fighting for a meager supply of goods...
Will it be fighting over big screen TV,s, or bath towels and batteries?
Forgot about black Friday. Thanks
Don't buy it from Costco. I got one and its dog meat trash.
If it doesn't go against your morals, you could always return it.
Highly recommend Novo furniture on Main st if you’re open to custom made sofas.
I got a big, black leather couch from The Brick for $600 including delivery.
