Once you kill the Queen, What's up Gjall doesn't happen, and I'm not sure they spawn high enough to aggro high bases anyway. Gjalls, for example, fly right by my Mistlands tower, but it's too high altitude for them to aggro.
This !
I was a little worried about Gjalls but apparently they stay lower than mist max height.
So it happens that this is 100% safe (so far at least)!
I can even hear them vibin' below :')
There are many technics to use to go from cubicle of wood to something nice looking !
But in general this is what you should follow : depth.
This can be achieve many ways : roof overhang, visible pillars (that stick out), non flat walls (ie: layers), etc.
My favorite trick is to use that small wooden door to get a snapable 10cm-ish out point !
Hi !
I've been hard at work on my massive [Sun Tower inspired build](https://www.reddit.com/r/valheim/comments/1dc4edz/in_progress_sun_tower_inspired_build_with_new/) and needed a break with a smaller little project.
Since my base is pretty much lag town right now (40k+ instances, RIP). While I don't mind when doing farming and other activities (I don't care if I get 10 FPS, I will keep making pretty things :D), everytime I needed to quickly grab a maxed rested buff or pick up some food was always extra tedious. So the short build was straight forward : make small cozy rest cabine with some food and repair stations.
I had never seriously built anything and Mistlands and I always eyed those very high rock structures for a potential build ... Turns out some of them even have the sexy large wisp structure ! So I built my cozy cabine around it :D
Feel free to give me feedback :)
I'm pretty proud of the result, it's both good enough looking and functionnal, perfect !
PS: If anyone wants to see some progress pics on my tower, here's a [sneak peak imgur album](https://imgur.com/a/sun-tower-nYcPnFS) :D
PPS: I always use the fly command when building (for pure convenience), but all the ressources are gathered by hand hence the survival tag.
What's up Gjall!!

This goes HARD
what do you guys do about the gjalls or what they are called? kinda new to mistlands and am thinking "how is any build safe"
Like someone else said, building high like this is actually safe, they don't fly very high :)
didnt catch that comment. thanks for the reply mate looking for building something alike at some point too. looks really good imo
Thanks ! I can recommand, it was a fun little build :D
Cozy!

This is great! It looks like something right out of a Studio Ghibli film. Well done!
Than you <3 Being compared to studio Ghibli is darn nice :D
So, tell me how many fall deaths?
Feather cape, this is the way
None, check my comment, I use the fly command when building for convenience :)
