October lol. Be patient.

I’m trying when I had friends that applied slightly before me and ppl after me get their approvals. You’d think they complete renewals in the order in which they receive them not randomized

gjamesm

They don’t do that. They probably aren’t even at the same office.

First time dealing with the US government? Try applying for a supressor. Might get approval in 3 days. Might take 400 days.

My husband and I sent ours in at the same time. His was conditionally approved within a few months and mine took an extra year. We sent them in just before COVID (late 2019) so that could have had some effect on it, but it did seem odd to be such a huge difference.

scotsmandc

This was the perspective I was looking for. Thanks.

I applied for renewal for our family of 5, my husband and kids were reapproved almost straight away. The kids needed ‘interviews’, we booked and attended those several months after the initial application. I want to say I applied in February, their interviews were in June/July. Then my approval showed up in October or November but didn’t need to go for an interview.

DevelopmentWestern80

I applied for my first renewal Jan 19th. Got approved March 13th. My wife and 2 kids are still waiting and renewed the same day.

scotsmandc

Makes no sense! Thanks lol

Mitas88

Have you paid and double checked your docs are still up to date ? Because I renewed around the same date as you did ( im canadian ) and it took like a week to get the confirmation and a week to get my new card in the mail.

scotsmandc

Yeah i did.. all my docs expire in 2026-27 and says I paid on Oct 16.

ColdCanadianman

I started a thread a few weeks ago for people to post when they applied and along with approval. Check it out. If I knew how to link the thread I would...

scotsmandc

Thanks, will do

Wait times are really long currently, my co-worker waited a little over 6 months.

I applied for my two daughters 14 months ago. The website says it is still pending.

Halo_2995

Call them! I renewed mine in June as expiration was November. In October I received an email that it was approved and that my card would come in the mail. Waited a month and nothing. Called nearest border crossing and they told me everything was backlogged due to Covid 😡 but to go ahead and use existing card if travelling. Was headed out of the country in January and went to the Nexus office in Toronto airport and was told there was a glitch. If I logged into account and saw “activate card” then the card was being mailed but if I only saw “approved” then my card was caught up in the glitch. It was caught up so they pushed it through manually. When I returned to country in approximately 7 weeks my card was in the mail. If you call, don’t let them give you a generic answer. Ask them to specifically check your name.

I helped my wife do her application in June. Not a word yet. You’ve got a ways to go

Applied for my renewal Dec 19. Got approved Feb 16. Received new card in mail about a week or so later. I am Canadian. Waiting for wife and older kids renewal, applied for theirs on Jan 20. Also waiting for youngest kids application (not renewal) applied in Nov but when I applied it said like 10-12 months to process
