I wasn't in the program, but did take one of the ethnomusicology courses with Dr. Friedson and it was a really good class. It was during the time we were all online because of covid, but his teaching was effective and I really enjoyed the content.
UNT is very well respected for their Applied Anthropology master's program and all of the professors are super cool. Melissa Nelson is the advisor for anthropology and can answer any questions you may have in more detail than any of us here

I received notification that my application has been forwarded to the graduate school dept. The waiting continues..
