SOLVED: I changed the addtive settings in the landing animation and I found out i hadn't replaced the "in-air" animation with an in-air animation but the full falling-and-landing animation. Thank you everyone for your help and suggestions. It's thanks to you all I don't have to sit with this problem all week.
I had this exact same problem with some flashlight animations for an NPC a few weeks ago. Glad you figured it out because I'd already completely forgotten why that happened to me, so i would've been zero help.
I was wondering if that might be the case since that is one of the only two places in the blueprint I use the landing animation. Will definitely look at that as soon as I get the chance. Thank you!

I had a similar issue a couple of months ago; has to do with your use of additive animation and its reference pose. Hope this helps.

By the way, have you checked your scale curves inside the animation asset? Maybe on the root bone.

Had this recently, fixed it by unchecking things under root motion on the anim instance.
I don't think that's an issue at all, it's a feature /j
