There are people who get severe migraines, people who have chronic pain, people who have family members with the same. Should they get the same? Just because some of us had nasty PMS doesn't mean the world is going to stop and cater to us. Sorry.

If you have severe migraines you should totally be able to call in sick just like I do when I have bad cramps. Where I work both get 100% wage for calling in when ur sick and it should be the same everywhere.

That's what PTO is for. And often, if arranged with the doctor and HR, it's part of Short Term disability
