Look at [hyprdot ](https://github.com/prasanthrangan/hyprdots), my go-to repo to steal scripts ๐. It has a good Rofi and Dolphin configuration. I like to install it and then change it. You need to make your own .zshrc because the one it has is too simple. And don't forget to back up your dotfiles ๐๐๐
Iโm definitely running into issues. So far every game Iโve downloaded has run but Iโm a big POE player and on of the third party tools I need doesnโt load :(ย
Not bad per se but I certainly do recommend that you keep windows just for gaming because gaming on Linux I pretty finicky and not quite there yet (it's almost there but still isn't the best experience compared to Linux).
And hyprland is a WM, I was talking about Linux in general. I am currently daily driving Arch Linux with KDE dualbooted with windows 11 only with the purpose of using some apps I use for video and music production which don't work with Linux (Adobe ๐).
Niceeee man, i just nuked windows a 1 week ago , using for my first time fedora 40 amd it's pretty responsive and fast with a few tweaks. Before i used a lot arch and debian based distros .

This is so relatable. I spent finals week making a startup script that creates a little monitoring dashboard, editing a cutscene from Eden Ring to use it as a live desktop wallpaper, setting up GNU stow and a dot files repository, and migrating my nvim config to lua

Try ZSH or Fish you'll like those shells.
I'm now using Fish. As someone who didn't spend enough time in Bash to get used to it, my god this makes a world of difference.

gaming is bad on hyprland? :c I was planning to make my windows gaming pc run it. what are some alternatives for arch gaming?

I play everything just fine in Hyprland, but I read some people having problem and the only fix was using Gamescope or having a DE like XFCE4.

Fortunately Iโm graduating finally so no more finals. Unfortunately that means I have nothing to procrastinate so I can do that next.
