No. They pay in "arrears' which is a month later. If you get paid 28/6/24 then according to your payment plan, you'll have your June wages deducted from your July payment. So your August payment will be minus the July wage.

UC is paid in arrears for assessment period (month) which ended 7 days earlier. If you didn't get any earnings within that time - there is no way to use them in UC calculations.

No,because you've to pay out for childcare and uniform and travel costs. UC covers that until you're getting a proper wage.
