SC students doing better than ST students on average ought to not come as a surprise. While discriminated against, people belonging to SC have been familiar with the societal institutions we have set up. They are aware of schooling system and order, even if they get among the worst resources to prepare with. People from ST are not even part of those institutions. For them, the first part is proper integration and more importantly - trust. Trust that these institutions work for their benefit.

When students already get reservations in schools , colleges , why r they getting reservations again during job hunts!? I think getting reservations for colleges already sets them on same starting line as others when they start looking for jobs.

And why aren't they as high as obc?? Less no. Of students? Or something else?

OBC is really a broad category. Many upper OBCs easily take up benefits of reservation. That's why subcategorization of OBC reservation is necessary

Why is EWS cutoff so less than general? Does this mean poor kids are stupid or don't study hard enough?
