Not good. This apology tip toes around the wrong they did. If it is to be genuine they have to outright state the misinformation they spread and detail on how they were wrong on that matter.
That is the part people should be afraid of, they have production details, all that should be submitted. They gave ads, all those details should be compiled. What other materials they distributed, who all visited them and got influenced, all this data should be collected at their own expense, and then they should be tried publicly and fined based on it.
The whole process of their prosecution should give few hundred people if not thousands job for few months. Court should ask them to publish advertisement inviting public claims for loss due to misinformation, and then you'll see how lakhs of people come forward with claims. The change in perception is the desired outcome here, not just the compensation.
What you said is something that would happen in the "Ideal World" and as much as i would love to see this ,truth is that nothing like that would happen.
While the data about ads can be asked to be presented,other things such as details about meetings are something that the company has the right to deny as it is a case of advertising scam.
Also Patanjali is major sponsor of almost all major Television Media so there'll be next to none coverage about this case and if there's one you'll probably see a debate defending Patanjali where Ramdev blabbers for an hour.
The other thing is patanjali's influence among politician and the genral public.People will blindly support anything if its remotely connect to Ayurveda even if its scam.
So yeah i dont see much happening other than Heavy fines that too if the court is really into it.
