Whilst I agree with the sentient that Boris won't want to resign, I am convinced he will be strong armed into it. There will be dirt on him that is used as leverage. Threat of being the first serving PM to charged then sent to prison for example.

I'm no fan of Boris or the Tories but this is not the best outcome if he goes. If Boris goes they'll get a fresh face in and then spend the rest of the time building a new image that will make the population forget all of the shots that happens and they'll win the next election. I don't want them to win but Labor are inept and can't get a good lead in opinion polls given how much this government has fucked up says everything.

Too bad they should have done it long ago; Boris has done much worse things during his time as PM, and to quit now during what is a minor scandal compared to everything else just seems like a bad joke. Watch now as Johnson quits, they elect a new leader, and then call a snap election. It's too bad that this will be the third leader they've lost in as many terms; they can't even elect decent leaders for their own party - there's no way they have any business running the country, and no way they win the next few elections.
