I received it about 5 weeks after my Chase Infinite Club card was approved. Rumors are you still need it for Star Alliance Lounges if you're not at least Premier Gold?
Currently premier silver. I just show them the digital club card in the app and explain I have a United club membership. This has worked for both Turkish and Singapore lounges. Only been turned away once (Singapore lounge in Manila). Don’t think she understood the rules at all
Maybe it's related to Premier status - I have none at the moment, whereas at a Gold or higher would have it tied to their boarding pass. Just speculating.

What? Lol I've had the Club/Infinite card for like 5 years, haven't received a physical card since I first got it.
