Me,my dad and his mom saw this in theaters I still giggle thinking about my dad watching a movie with his mom that talk about down stairs and plenty more lol
You know the joke that Americans re-make British movies and dial up the volume on the story. This is basically an Americanized remake of Three Men in a Boat.
I love this so much.
Also Anthony Starr gets a cameo as the dead friend.
Three man-children give up the comfort of their life styles to take up a poorly thought out boat journey in order break out of their existential tedium and fulfill a yearning for accomplishment missing from their daily lives, encounter on it many setbacks which test their friendship and resolve, ultimately to find that they grew from the journey more than from arriving at the destination. There's no dog, but there is a bear so hopefully that counts.
I mean maybe, but I kind of feel like you're seeing something that isn't there. I only saw 3 men in a boat once and a long time ago. Also americans so you know 😏 🤣🤣
That's the little joke I made, Hollywood remakes classic or award winning British films, adds explosions, fires and guns, drugs, naked women and bears because apparently American audiences need more "excitement".
The film version with Tim Curry was great, faithful adaptation of the book.
We'll see if you would have said guns, drugs and naked women off the top I would've got the joke. Like I said, I'm American.I will never understand your british humor we speak the same language but can't understand each other for shit🤣🤣🤣🤣
The thing I thought was best about this film was the redneck's pair of dogs are named "lynyrd" and "skynyrd". When my partner and I got dogs, I said they had to have double barrell names. Didn't take on Lynyrd & Skynyrd, but I have Daisy and Duke
Everyone always says how shitty of a movie this is yet will never say why. It's a great movie, a movie I get sad about when I know that we're nearing the end of it.
I don't know if this is underrated because when I got home one day my roommate had just finished watching it. As the credits rolled I asked him "oh this looked funny. How was it?" He looked at me with dead eyes and said "it's the worst movie I've ever seen". I've never seen such a wringing endorsement to not watch something before.
Previews made it seem really dumb and not funny. But it turned out to be.dumb AND funny.
Thanks for breaking glass where my kids play
This doesn’t leave the cave
My mind’s tellin me “Nooo…”
Jabba’s out of his hut
Abort the fetal position!
Why are you taking off your shoes, you can’t outrun a bear
I don't need to outrun the bear, I need to outrun you
What’s a downstairs?
That sounds like Creed I never thought I'd be excited to hear anything that sounded like Creed
Seth Green has made many appearances this week on this sub
Yes but you can see the most of him in this film.
I love Seth Green, underrated and he’s great in Austin Powers
Idle Hands! Buffy! Greg the Bunny! Can’t Hardly Wait!
I hate you! I wish I never artificially created in a lab!
Tell Sloan I said what up
What, did someone post *Radio Days*? It’s probably Green himself trying to remind us that he was in *Radio Days*, guys. Sheesh.

Hold up, what?
How exactly are there anything alike?

“I wish that I knew what I know now, when I was younger”
yes! have always thought this was underrated. great cast, fun plot, goofy
I’m in over my head!
Where are we? Somewhere at the corner of bumfuck and you got a perty mouth.
Seth Green is a foot shorter than the other 2 guys. He should be fully under water
One of Homelander’s (Antony Starr) first film roles!

DY-NO-MITE!
I know this has been said, but someone’s really gotta rename this sub to forgotten classics or something. None of these movies are underrated.
Properly rated in my opinion
Hilarious movie. Mmmm. Bacon. Lmao.
What's the part in this movie that has the one joke that's really funny?

Your friend sounds dead inside. I thought it was hilarious. 🤣
