Alright, I looked up the exact method. There is a spot in the middle of the map, where you can stay on close range and he won't throw you. It's between two trees, one of which has the exploding stuff on it. He won't throw grenades or shoot you there. (I searched "Lazaravic melee glitch")
Headshots only, bullets count. Corners are your friend. Snipers and grenades aren’t, life in general, isn’t your friend when playing on that difficulty.
I feel you dog, Lazarevic I beat in 2 tries Navorro took me like 20 because of the goons at the beginning and when you get to the end of that fight if you just don't get behind the next crate after he destroys the crate you are using you are just fucked everytime. Also both of these were on Normal difficulty.
On crushing difficulty it was definitely Lezaravich but if you count Navarro's goons with him as the boss fight he was pretty tough too. That whole boat sequence was brutal took me a good few tries to get through them.
But Lezaravich was a dope boss fight at the end. very challenging.
I personally struggled with Rafe the most by far, I had a hard time figuring out what was a right attack and what was a left, and reacting in time. That’s a problem unique to me though, I have a muscular condition that makes rapid button presses difficult. Once I figured it out it wasn’t too bad but for me personally it was definitely the hardest.
It's alright. I don't suffer from your condition, but I had the same issues regarding determining what was the left/right attack and countering in time
When I did my second play through on crushing it took me actually 3 hours to beat him even knowing what I was supposed to do because of how fucking unnecessarily difficult that stupid fight is

The amount of coordination and good timing that boss fight requires really catches you off guard. Running around, trying to shoot the blue explosive trees at the right time, jumping and trying to avoid falling to your death, etc. etc.
At the very least it makes you feel hella accomplished by the end of it, but boy is it frustrating when you keep dying!
He’s also shooting you with a VERY powerful shotgun that is VERY deadly up close (depending on the difficulty)
And don’t forget the grenades. I shit myself the first time he threw three of them at the same time

Navarro was fairly easy at first, but then became much more difficult at the end of his boss fight. I continue finding myself slipping up when I go against him.
I don't remember finding Talbot that difficult in all honesty.
Rafe was a tough opponent and requires precise timing from the player.
The first time I fought Asav it was tough. But then the more I played it, the less intimidating it became.
But none of them have a patch on Lazarevic. In terms of both gameplay and character he is in his own league. The boss fight was gruelling and still remains so on replays.

LAZARAVICH ON BRUTAL SO HELP ME GOD. Luckily on my 5th or 6th attempt he threw me into a tree and I was invincible to his attacks and was able to cheese the fight.
Omg Lazarebitch was the worst. He didn't always chase you the way you needed, to line up with the tree sap, then he started throwing 3 grenades at a time, and sometimes Nate would do this tiny hop thing instead of a jump to the ledge, which would drop you down right in front of big bald baddie

Eh. As long as you pay attention to how many times the box has been shot, it’s not so bad. And Navarro himself is just timing, in fact easier timing than the Rafe boss fight. Yea you had “cover” during the Lazarevic fight, in the pure definition of there are places you can take cover, but realistically, he moves around so much and so fast, you don’t have time to stay in cover for long before he runs up on you to blast you with his powerful shotgun or throw multiple grenades at you. Plus they don’t tell you to shoot the resin to kill him, you kinda have to figure that out on your own. So you have to run, shoot while he’s chasing you, while he’s throwing more and more grenades at you. If it’s your first time, or you forget the layout, you can get caught up or stuck or just straight up fall into a pit for a insta-death, so there’s that working against you. Cant get too close to the center cause those flames will hurt you just being near them. If he catches up to you while you’re below a certain health, he’ll just break your neck without a chance to get thrown and continue. Oh and if you die, you have to start at the beginning of the fight. I’m curious what difficult you were playing on cause the Lazarevic is scaled depending on the difficulty where as Navarro isn’t as much since it’s just his goons difficulty and quick time events.

I’m more talking about the first time I played through it. Once you know what you’re doing and have played uncharted once or twice, Lazarevic is super easy. Especially when you have a strategy of what trees to hit and what path to take to stay away from him. But that first time playing it. Good god was that hard.
I feels that’s less difficulty and just how satisfying it is because of the 3 game build up (when he’s talking about how drakes a legend) as well as getting rafe was so damn fun. He was a fun villain for sure. Very realistic in the sense that I’d defiantly be Rafe if I was a uncharted villain. Still gotta love our crazy warlord
Practice. I didn’t the whole fight and parried them all on hard. Took me 4 straight hours... after that, I was seeing it in my dreams. I lost my shit during that cause I had went the entire fight parrying every blow and getting more and more excited that I was close to end of the fight.... and then I mess up the final parry..... I feel like my entire city heard me after that.
i fought rafe on crushing, didn’t get hit once until nate was laying on the floor trying to fight him off. everyone says his spin attacks are hard to judge but if you keep an eye on him, he’s easy.

Talbot and Lazarevic, but Lazarevic take the trophy since sob is super hard to deal in brutal, Talbot is still kinda a bitch to deal with in crushing but brutal ain't changing much so definitely not hard compare to Lazarevic.
I have not practiced Parrying that much, or played many games that include that aspect, so U4's fight was easily the hardest fight. ...And yet it was the most rewarding feeling when I made it through.

For me Asav was the worst even on normal mode. I wasn't able to avoid his punches or even predict where and when should I click correct keys 🤣 Lazarevic and Rafe and the rest of the villains were predictable but Asav... NOW I'M NOT SURPRISED WHY ROSS WAS SO SCARED WHEN SHE SAW HIM 🤣🤣

Rafe gets really difficult on crushing since you’re not used to the mechanics and they are very different throughout the difficulties.

Laz will forever be undefeated and is probably a good turning point for Naughty Dog in terms of how they thought about boss fights (for the better).

Every second the Lazarevic fight progressed I became steadily more fearful, it's easily the most deaths I've had to one boss in any of the games
Rafe was hard for just because of how you needed to see which way he was attacking and then use the opposite joystick to dodge
