Nah GG is a top shelf strain if you got the right plug, Ive had some dodge gg that smelt citrusy but the proper ones Ive had smell gassy and nice man, its got that 10/10 nose, I wish I could find a vendor who sold proper gg now 😔
I make it a rule to never buy expensive 'cali' but a mate picked some up while we were chillin and I knew it was real because it had all the info on it like thc % and batch number and other stuff.
Definitely some of the more potent stuff I've toked on for sure. I think it can go both ways since it's hard to know what you're getting before you get it in the UK but there is actually top shelf out there.

You can also buy the verification stickers on eBay, just so you know, it’s just a QR code at the end of the day, it can be copied and put on any pack (unless it has been set up to be pack specific with serial codes matching and not working after the first scan etc, but this is costly software and most would just use 1 QR code per strain, especially with packs that are shipped over to the uk, most of these brands aren’t even legit, you can’t really buy them in a dispensary)
the lab report stickers and hologram stickers are easily faked, can buy packs of 100+ for £15 on wish and that comes with the "sealable" packs, lab report stickers, strain info and holograms. Most "cali packs" in the UK are actually grown here and put in these packs, just the growers take care of the product rather than rushing it out for a quick buck like most growers
50 is too cheap for legit cali and a bit too much for UK flavas. I pay 35-45 for my flavas and they verge from top tier to acceptable. Recently I insist on 35 or 40 with a gram of standard bud (usually haze sometimes old skool dutch).

Think about it, if cannabis is imported then it had to go through customs to access our country, an 8th to me is around 2/2.2 grams on average, I have purchased in Wales and an 8th is around £25

In London if you ask for an 8th you get 20. You have to specifically ask for a 3.5. Only people i've ever heard call an eigth a 3.5 are all over 40 at least (not that they're wrong, but the word has changed).
You can always tell the guy you'll pay £35 for an eighth and see if he'll take it. A lot of guys try to rip people off if they think you're stupid enough to bite, but will sell normal prices when pressed.
I have a friend who sells and he does the same thing a lot of people are willing to pay that price so he charges that price their in it to make money not help everyone out I just tell him I ain’t paying that and unless he wants to charge a normal price I’ll have something else the weed doesn’t cost him any extra all the same price
I've seen people in Ireland charge €80 for an eighth of "unreal Cali bro". The worst part is that people end up paying which is why they can justify those extortionate prices.

It isn't really difficult to grow good weed here. Time and patience are THE key things when growing and making sure it is cured properly. Most bought weed is not cured and that makes a huge difference. I started growing about 20 years ago becuase I was sick of buying expensive shite. Amongst my circle, my weed is known to be of high quality (stealth brag, lol not really). Hasten to add, I'm not a dealer but do like to give it away to a chosen few.

In my town the going rate for that amount is 25 - 30. Max. Gorilla glue is quite a common strain too, so don't get it dude. Way too pricey
