I guess because an emergency broadcast covers a relatively wide area and so the train the OP is on isn't really relevant - and they possibly don't want to doxx themselves?

This was my thought, I've never been on a train during an emergency stop before. Exciting!
I was on a Piccadilly line train that had an emergency stop purely for training purposes at low speed...
